TrustpilotSeymours in Woking
Right from the beginning Seymours in Woking guided us to where we are today. They never gave up on showing us a particular property which was suitable for us. Eventually with their resilience and utter professionalism especially from Mr Zo Khan, we reached our destination. Navina and I would like to thank Angela, Sophie and the rest who tirelessly and patiently showed us numerous properties.

GoogleSeymour has got the "Wow" factor to make your experience memorable. Their staff are professional and fantastic at helping you with what you need. Emily and her team demonstrated good customer service with their communication by always ensuring that I was in the loop of every phase of the process of sorting out our apartment and also went the extra mile to ensure that all referencing procedures were duly met without delay.
I recommend Seymours to anyone and you will be amazed by their exceptional service.

The team at Seymour’s Lightwater were superb from the first meeting with James all the way through to completing our property sale, communication was timely and excellent, with a special mention for Ryan, Alex and Tom plus the back office team. We could not have wished for a better experience, thank you all so much. Chris and Paul Bryant.

TrustpilotWould Not Recommend Seymours
I have used quite a few letting agencies within Woking and out of all of them, I would highly recommend Churchods. We used Seymours due to the liking the property at initial glance. However, after moving in we came to learn that the neighbours in the flat below us had a noise level that made this flat unlivable. Every cough, sneeze, discussion etc we could hear. Upon contacting Seymours, we were pawned off from the block management company, to the landlord and eventually back to them because no one would address the issue or take responsibility looking into it or helping fix the problem. Danilo at Seymours sent very copy and paste corporate answers without a level of sympathy considering my flatmate and I haven't had a proper nights sleep since we've moved in here. Cannot wait for our tenancy contract to end so we can moveout and not use Seymours again.

GoogleI have had one hell of a journey with estate agents during this sale as you well know. You being my third.
I remember sitting down with you Oliver in my parents kitchen and you telling me that this was your business and if you don't sell you don't get paid. I thought then that surely these are the guys to get this sorted.
You are by far the best agents I have ever worked with and that includes ones I have used in Wales and Shropshire. You managed my expectations from the start. You told me the truth not sales waffle. You kept communications perfectly with me. You did what you said you would do.
Even if you didn't sell the house, the way you operate your business, look after clients and manage your staff is very good.
I don't want this to sound like I'm blowing your own trumpet. I just want you to know that together your doing a good job.
Of all the many costs and fees being deducted from the estate, your fees are very much deserved.

GoogleEvery member of the team I have dealt with is a credit to Seymours, but my primary contact was Aaron Williams and it’s easy to see why he’s the manager of the lettings area.
Aaron is likeable, professional, knowledgeable and very, very efficient.
No hidden surprises, everything was explained by Aaron beforehand, and he delivered on everything that he said either he, or a member of the team, would do.
He’s commercially switched on as well, the timing of the house I’ve now moved into wasn’t quite right and I was going to have to pass on it, but Aaron set out to see if the property’s availability could be brought forward to enable me to move in sooner than originally advertised, and he successfully did so.
From then onwards it was all done, dusted and closed at lightspeed.
Great work, Seymours.

GoogleWe recently had the pleasure of working with Aaron, and can't recommend him highly enough. From the very beginning, Aaron took the time to understand our specific requirements for a flat, demonstrating exceptional patience and attentiveness throughout the process.
His communication skills were outstanding; he kept us updated at every stage and was always available to answer any questions we had. What impressed me most was his dedication to finding a property that truly matched our needs. Aaron went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our options, never rushing us and always offering valuable insights.
In the end, we found the perfect flat, and it’s all thanks to Aaron’s hard work and commitment.

Currently selling through Seymour’s Grayshott. What always feels like a nightmare experience has been more of a pleasant dream. Very professional, the whole team (Darren, James and Sarah) all came to view the house so they knew it well. Which was a positive for me having viewed houses where the agent couldn’t answers any questions as they ‘haven’t been in it before’. All initial negotiations, photographs etc went well. Had just three viewings and two offers almost straight away. Excellent communication keeping me up to date, I dealt mainly with James who is bright and enthusiastic.

TrustpilotJust sold my house Seymours Woking
Just sold my house Seymours Woking. Would never use again due to an unprofessional and amateur attitude. Whole catalogue of failures, main failures listed….Chap who signed us up said “i will be dealing with your sale from start to finish”, we seen him once after, never again. (We knew this was complete bs at the time) Most viewings had been hosted by different junior Seymours staff, unfamiliar with the house lay out / key selling features and normally arriving only 5 before a potential buyer. The advertising write up draft was completely incorrect, we corrected it. The incorrect write up appeared and kept appearing for almost a month (as we all know, first few weeks of selling a house the photos and write up are vital), despite repeated requests to correct it. After several very frustrating calls to Seymours, staff said they could not amend a new website, (we got palmed off time and time again) we ended up calling the manager direct who eventually rectified the write up, sadly, by this time the buzz of our house sale coming on the market had been lost. House build control / extension documents had been handed into Seymours to pass onto the solicitors. Seymours lost the documents ! Luckily, i had insisted on keeping the originals. We ended up scanning the documents and sending them to the solicitors ourselves. Communications were terrible with Seymours Woking, they promised updates once a week. We had to chase for updates, we ended up chasing the chain / buyers / solicitors ourselves. When we did get a Seymours update, we just got the impression the information was made up, as it was totally different to what our buyers had been telling us direct. Points of contact with Seymours were not consistent. Key photos were missing and did not align with the text. ***We had picked Seymours hoping for a stress free sale, it was far from stress free. As a matter of fact Seymours turned out to be an additional stress due to staff incompetence, for what should have been an easy straightforward sale. Don't be fooled by the lovely looking new office in Woking, it gives the impression of a totally professional set up - far from any reality for us. Huge amount in fees paid to Seymours and we ended up doing most of the leg work ourselves…….BUYER BEWARE AS THEY SAY***UPDATE 23/08/24 Seymours management have our telephone numbers. No attempt has been made to contact the sellers.

Dear Adrian,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I'm truly sorry to hear that your sale didn’t meet the high standards we aim for at Seymours Woking. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, as it highlights areas where we need to improve to ensure our clients receive the service they expect and deserve.I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered with communication and the advertising of your property. It’s clear that we fell short in maintaining consistent contact and ensuring the accuracy of your listing, both of which are crucial during such an important transaction. Please be assured that we’ve taken your comments on board, and we’re already reviewing our processes to ensure this doesn’t happen again. For example, we’re implementing more rigorous checks and a streamlined communication protocol to better serve our clients.Regarding the loss of your documents and the issues during viewings, I completely understand how frustrating that must have been. We take full responsibility for these oversights. To prevent future occurrences, we’ve reinforced our training for all staff members, emphasising the importance of thorough preparation for viewings and the proper handling of client documentation. While I understand that this experience was far from what you expected, I want to assure you that your feedback has prompted immediate action. Our goal is to provide a stress-free and professional service. Seymours has had over 5,000 positive reviews with an average score of 4.8/5 but it’s clear we missed the mark here. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further and see if there’s anything we can do to address your concerns directly.Thank you again, Adrian, for bringing these issues to our attention. We care deeply about our clients and are committed to learning from this to improve our services.

Tadgh and the Seymours team have been amazing. My partner and I have been looking to buy our first home and the Seymours have helped us every step of the way. The whole team are very friendly, responsive and happy to help. We mostly interacted with Tadgh who was fantastic. He was easy to contact, supportive, and answered any questions we had. It took us a couple of months and some failed offers to finally find a property. Over this time the team arranged a lot of viewings for us, but it never seemed like too much trouble for them and they made the whole process of looking for a home as stress free and pleasant as possible. I cannot thank Tadgh and the Seymours team enough for being so patient, determined and persistent when it came to finding us a home we loved. Our experience with Seymours has been nothing but positive. This was the first time we were looking for a property as a couple, and they shortlisted great options for us to view. TrustpilotTerrible Experience - Buyers Perspective
Recently moved to Guildford and purchased a property through Seymours and had a terrible experience. Poor communication skills and incompetent. Would avoid buying and selling. Issues experienced - Not showing up for viewings. Changing view times on the day. Agreed to pick up the keys in the afternoon after calling the office and was then told the previous owners are still in the property after I arrived. My 6 month old was in a lot of discomfort sitting in the car for hours. On a good note, the Sales Progressor Clive was very helpful and provided regular updates.

TrustpilotThey got us the deal we wanted!
The guys at Seymour’s Knaphill (Jeff, Anthony, Ian and Toby) worked exceptionally hard to sell our property at the price we wanted. It was a difficult market for selling in 2023-24 but they managed to bring in many viewings (average 1-2 per week) and 4 offers from 4 different prospective buyers before we agreed on the sale. This was really good volume in a “difficult” market. We were really impressed and happy that they understood the market as well as our wants and needs. The 1% fee is also reasonable. I would definitely recommend Seymour’s Knaphill and would certainly use them again!

TrustpilotThe agent asked for debit card details in the e-mail
Had a really controversial experience with Guildford branch. We contacted the agency through the rightmove website and they came back on the phone and e-mail (the fact that they didn’t pay attention to the request not to call but to write the e-mails is another story) and we booked some flats to view. The properties they showed where really nice, and we liked one of them very much so decided to proceed with the offer, and here the strange things began. So, we completed the form to send to the landlord, the agent returned to us to confirm the details and to ask for our debit card information (16-digit card number, expiry date, 3-digit security code) which already looks quite suspicious. We asked why would they need those details, and the answer was - this is a commitment to your offer and no money would be processed unless the offer is actually accepted. Too much of commitment to me. We refused to provide those details for obvious security reasons. The next morning we got several text messages from stripelink with some confirmation codes and also there were some missed calls from the agents. When we asked if those stripelink messages were from the agency, the answer was, no, and by the way you offer was rejected because the landlord is allergic to pets. Oh, what a coincidence.

Thank you for sharing this, and I’m really sorry for the experience you’ve had with our Guildford branch. What you’ve described would understandably make anyone feel uneasy, and I can completely see why your trust was shaken.
Firstly, you should always feel respected in how we communicate. If you asked for email only, that preference should have been followed, and I’m sorry it wasn’t.
Regarding the offer process, I want to be completely transparent. We do not ask for full card details, including the 3-digit security code, at any stage. That isn’t part of our process, and it absolutely shouldn’t have been requested. We’re normally very strict about how we handle personal information, so this sounds like an error on our part, and we’re looking into it straight away.
The Stripe messages you received were also not from us, and I appreciate how alarming that must have been, especially with everything else happening at the same time. I’m genuinely sorry for the worry that caused.
I’ve passed your feedback directly to the Guildford partner to investigate fully, make sure your details are secure, and ensure your experience is reviewed properly so this doesn’t happen again.
Thank you again for raising this even though it’s difficult to read, it helps us improve. I am genuinely sorry that this was your experience with us.

TrustpilotNever let them manage your contarct
We used Seymours as a letting and management agency for our house while we were abroad. They did a good job on the letting side but were absolutely useless as management agents. I would never get them to manage anything for me again. As an example, the first email contact I had with them described a house I struggled to recognise as they had designated various rooms to uses with which we were not familiar.

We had a very difficult Leasehold sale which Amy at Seymours in Woking guided us through. TrustpilotDon't expect much
It all started off well with a quick offer, I'll give them that. After that they got the job done in the end but that's about it. The service was lacking in personalisation - always rushing on the phone to the point that it was rude. If they'd spent more time listening, we wouldn't have been in the position that they didn't know we were trying to complete on the purchase of a property the same day, which added stress to an already stressful process.
