Every member of the team I have dealt with is a credit to Seymours, but my primary contact was Aaron Williams and it’s easy to see why he’s the manager of the lettings area. Aaron is likeable, professional, knowledgeable and very, very efficient. No hidden surprises, everything was explained by Aaron beforehand, and he delivered on everything that he said either he, or a member of the team, would do. He’s commercially switched on as well, the timing of the house I’ve now moved into wasn’t quite right and I was going to have to pass on it, but Aaron set out to see if the property’s availability could be brought forward to enable me to move in sooner than originally advertised, and he successfully did so. From then onwards it was all done, dusted and closed at lightspeed. Great work, Seymours.

I have had one hell of a journey with estate agents during this sale as you well know. You being my third. I remember sitting down with you Oliver in my parents kitchen and you telling me that this was your business and if you don't sell you don't get paid. I thought then that surely these are the guys to get this sorted. You are by far the best agents I have ever worked with and that includes ones I have used in Wales and Shropshire. You managed my expectations from the start. You told me the truth not sales waffle. You kept communications perfectly with me. You did what you said you would do. Even if you didn't sell the house, the way you operate your business, look after clients and manage your staff is very good. I don't want this to sound like I'm blowing your own trumpet. I just want you to know that together your doing a good job. Of all the many costs and fees being deducted from the estate, your fees are very much deserved.

I was impressed with the service we received from Seymours. This was tenant find, inventory, hand over etc. and rent handling. Having agreed a tenancy with one person that then went on to take up another one with a different property, they quickly found me a very suitable replacement tenant. When this tenant turned out to be unable to pass refernce checks in time Aaron and his team and other colleagues arranged a suitable deposit from the tenant at short notice which enabled them to move in. There were several members of the team that I was able to contact when others were on their day off or out and about. Looking forward to a good working relationship with Seymours

We had a very disappointing experience with Seymours Letting Agency. From the start of our tenancy, the property suffered from serious damp and mould issues, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. The mould was severe enough to affect cupboards and stored items, making parts of the property unusable. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, the problem was never properly resolved. Although visits were arranged, the “repairs” carried out were only cosmetic (cleaning and repainting), and the mould returned quickly. Even a contractor acknowledged that the issue appeared to be structural, yet no effective action was taken. What was most frustrating was the lack of timely communication. We waited weeks for responses while living in increasingly poor conditions. The situation worsened over time, and the property became unsuitable for us to continue living in. When we requested to leave early due to these conditions, the proposed terms were unreasonable and placed all financial risk on us, despite the ongoing issues with the property. Overall, the experience felt dismissive and poorly handled. We would not recommend this agency based on our experience.

She kept what I needed in mind, and all the options that she sent me were great matches to what I was looking for. Furthermore, she was very patient throughout the process until I found a place that was perfect for me. Doing my search with her was lovely and made the hunt a lot less stressful. Seymours Camberley gave us a truly negative renting experience. They misrepresented a plumbing issue to blame us for £1,800 in repairs, only for the contractor to confirm he had told them it was a historical issues. They stood by a landlord who tried to enforce unreasonable and unlawful clauses in the tenancy agreement, including a 4-month notice period and holding onto more than three months' worth of deposits. When it came to the deposit return, they submitted a clearly false quote to the adjudicator, who returned our full deposit within 48 hours after reviewing the facts. This branch gives estate agents a bad name. I'd recommend going to an agent with integrity. *Image shows notice period reduced from 4 to 3 months. Maximum under the law is 2 months.

We placed our property on the market with Seymours, Camberley. We chose them as Ollie and Tom run the business themselves and the office was close to our property. Ollie came round and gave us a valuation that we were happy with. We built up a great relationship with the whole team. The selling process proved to take some time due to chain issues, but finally the sale completed last week! Everyone at the office was really helpful and their communication throughout the whole process was excellent. I would definitely recommend them.
