GoogleAwful. Hidden charges. Rude staff. Lies about who's responsible for what (always check the gov website before they try to get you to sort problems with the property that is down to landlord not the tennant)

GoogleI find them sooo rude I split up with my partner and needed him taken off tenancy they told me he could write a letter so I took it down and how they spoke down to me and found them so rude it's stressful enough in its self without them been rude to me as well. I don't even want to give them the one star...

GoogleWarning do not go with this company! The worst agents ever come across very rude money grabbing people .. I've rented two houses from this agents they allowed me to move into a very poor house telling me the problems in the house would be fixed ..with there inspections they took everything down & pictures with having 22promblems this the house they did nothing to fix the issues .they charge for everything going .I've lost over a grand over period of two houses with this company. Awful awful awful company I believe I'm not the only one who has gone with this company and feels the same way.

GoogleWorse than one star, do not use and waste your time and money on these agents. We used them for our rental property, our house was wrecked by the awful tenants, we couldn't get our deposit back even though they caused £1,000s of damage to our house. They marketed our house without our permission even after we had severed our contract with them. It was extremely difficult to get our keys back. To not use this company.

GoogleAVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! There's too many good agents around Stourbridge now that actually know what they're doing, so I would suggest to EVERYBODY speak to one of those instead! By far the worst agent I have ever come across. I cannot advise enough that you STRONGLY reconsider your options if Select are your current first choice. Poor customer service, poor management, and altogether a very amateur set up. I have no idea how they're still allowed to trade. I'm pretty sure they're not registered with any of the property professional bodies, which doesn't surprise me, as they would have been regulated a little more. Tenancy agreement is only 6 pages long, and on inspection contains some unfair terms both for landlord and tenant. For a tenancy agreement of this standard, you may as well write your own on a napkin using crayon and save yourself some money. I could go into much further detail than this, but I will leave it here. As you're reading this review, you will see a list of other agencies underneath, all with MUCH better reviews than this Mickey Mouse set up. Call one of those. I am incredibly impressed with my new letting agent, which came as a recommendation. I do not feel it would be fair to mention in this review exactly who my new agent is, but I'm told they're currently number one on Rightmove at the moment for Sales (you WILL have seen their boards up all over Wordsley, Kingswinford and Wollaston, they're taking over!) , and their relatively new and diverse Lettings Department have been a breath of fresh air after losing all faith in the industry thanks to Select. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

GoogleAmazing supportive staff, committed to their tennents. I have rented 3 houses via Select and they have all be well maintained and repairs done quickly. Highly recommend them to anyone going into private letting.
