GoogleJames, Ash, Emma and the rest of his team were really supportive through the whole process. We dealt with them over the probate value of this property and then the selling of the property. We got regular feedback and updates. There was not anything we asked of them that they did not do.

GoogleI have to share the scoop on my recent run-in with Rolfe East. It was a rollercoaster, and I'm waving the red flag for anyone thinking about buying a property with them. So, we had this agent, Ash, all smiles during viewings, making us think we found our dream home. But it was just the beginning of their little game. They kept bugging us until we hit an offer that seemed to hook the landlord. Pumped us up, saying, "We are delighted that your offer has been accepted!" But guess what? Next day, they hit us with an email saying someone else threw in a bit more, and we're out. And get this, after all that drama, they had the audacity to ask for an extra 5k to seal the deal. When Ash mentioned many times that he dealt with the landlord in the past and was sure that just a much bigger offer would have made them change their mind! Long story short: Save yourself some time. They're playing games and messing with people's dreams. Save yourself the stress and find an agency that's not all about the shady business.

We have looked into your claims and the situation surrounding the offer you made on a property through our agency as per the contents of your review and reply as follows.: Ash was keen to secure the property for you and saw you as a priority purchaser, he even conducted your third viewing outside of normal working hours. Ash also made sure you knew that there was another party that had offered through another agency, so you were fully aware that there were other buyers interested in the property. Due to our hard work with the seller we managed to get your offer accepted. However, the next day we were informed by the seller that they had accepted a higher offer which was put forward by the other another agent. The seller saw the higher offer as a more viable option for them. We did give you an opportunity to increase your offer, but instead of discussing this with us, you list this review. We understand you must be frustrated especially if this was your dream home, but we gain nothing from you losing out on the property. All we have done is work hard to secure this home for you. Unfortunately, the legal system does not have provisions which lock buyers or sellers into contracts when accepting an offer, so both parties can withdraw or change their minds at any time. Agents do not have the power or control to stop this as we simply follow the instructions of the client who owns the property. As always, we are still happy to help you with your home search, so please contact us to discuss this if you wish.

When we ran into a few problems --not due to them -- they were excellent in sorting things out for us. All the team were very good but big shout out for Natalie in particular. GoogleWorst agents ever, stay away from them!!! We had a badly leaking roof for 2 years with a small baby at home and nobody even moved a finger about it! Ofcourse when we decided to move away from there than they started fixing the ossue.. and on top of everything we had to fight with them to get our deposit back

Unfortunately this was caused by the freeholder not dealing with a leak in the roof of the block (no names mentioned, but we find it hilarious that they give licences to landlords), we decorated the interior more than once, but the structure was the issue and regret that our tenant had an issue. Although we did all in our power to resolve the problem, sometimes there are outside influences beyond our control.

GoogleWe hadn't planned to move yet again. Family circumstance meant that we had to bite the bullet. We invited to Laurence to value our home, having met him before and been impressed. During the first meeting we weren't disappointed. He was highly professional, enthusiastic and did a very good job of selling the qualities of his team. We decided that if they put the same efforts into selling our home there would be a good chance of success. Cutting to the chase having signed up on competitive terms things went well. We had lots of viewings and the team were highly efficient, keeping us updated promptly with feedback, and always presenting themselves professionally and personably in an appropriate way. Once we had good offers on the table and were able to proceed with one things went swimmingly until there were, as always, hold ups, issues and general delays which were outside our transaction. During this time they were very supportive. Throughout this the team were excellent. In the run up to exchange even our solicitor expressed admiration for the diligence and determination shown to get things over the line. In summary Rolfe East in Sherborne are staffed by a good bunch of people who are good at what they do, are likeable and in our experience deliver the goods. The big plus is they have the cutest 'Estate Agent Resident Dog' ever. Highly recommended.

GoogleExcellent work from Rolfe East in helping sell a family home, being that of my wife's late aunt. The initial meeting with Laurence was delivered sensitively, and the process of their service very clearly laid out. The whole subsequent package was followed up in a timely and well communicated way, particularly from Natalie who with empathy made direct texted information to my wife (who suffers hearing loss) which, as an executor, helped the whole sale proceed smoothly and successfully.
