GoogleWe used Kendalls for the sale of our property. Initially, we were highly delighted as we received an offer on our house on the first viewing, only 3 days after it hit the market. For this, I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately, we had feedback from our buyers about the guy who showed them around our house and it was less than satisfactory. Our buyers said the guy knew absolutely nothing about the house and couldn't answer any of their questions, not even offering to find out for them. The buyers said "it's a good job your house sold itself as the guy was useless" This was a shock to us as we were assured the viewings would be carried out by a member of staff who had all the information we had given to Kendalls available to him. On a positive note, I believe the sheer volume of marketing that Kendalls put out will sell your house. We were in a short chain of 3 and the process from offer to completion took 3 months. I can't comment on the office staff or our account manager as I only had one phone call to discuss the offer. All other communication was done through my solicitor.

We are pleased that we were able to secure a buyer for you within the first few days of your property going live with ourselves, after previously trying another agent. With regards to our accompanied viewing staff, I am sorry that the feedback from your buyer fell short of your expectations. Our accompanied viewing team are not office based, and our viewing team do not always have an in-depth knowledge of every property. However, we do try to make it clear to all parties that each of the properties that we market for sale is allocated a dedicated Personal Property Consultant who is on hand to answer any questions throughout the marketing, negotiation, sale and exchange of the transaction. We always schedule a follow up call the day after every viewing to engage with the viewer, gain feedback and discuss their future interest in the property. I am sorry that this was not made clearer to yourself and your buyer at the time. We will take this feedback on board and discuss ways in which we can improve this aspect of our service. We are pleased that Trish managed to push the sale through within your required timescale and can see on the file that she regularly chased both parties solicitors to ensure the sale was running smoothly. We wish you all the best in your venture.

It was a very difficult and stressful time for us due to a lengthy chain with plenty of complications and without them to reassure and guide us along we wouldn’t have made it through.
