GoogleWe recently dealt with Churchods in Weybridge and had a genuinely great experience throughout. The team were professional, responsive and very easy to deal with from start to finish. Communication was clear, things were handled proactively, and the whole process felt well managed throughout. A special mention to Amelia Wootton, who was particularly helpful along the way. Would happily recommend the Weybridge team to anyone looking to move.

GoogleWe’ve just returned from an enjoyable week staying in Kittiwake on The Esplanade. Although the weather was cold we were quite comfortable and cosy in the apartment. The WiFi signal was strong, enabling us to remain in contact with family. As we didn’t use the car for this holiday we purchased weekly passes for the bus and tram network. The tram terminal was only a few minutes walk away and proved very convenient to get around.

GoogleVery disappointing experience with this estate agent. We enquired about a property in M9 that we were interested in purchasing, but our emails were ignored and we received no reply or call back. When I eventually called them, the person who answered came across as extremely arrogant and unhelpful. We asked a reasonable question regarding the lease, as we have previously purchased similar leasehold properties within the same estate and are familiar with some of the mortgage lending issues that can arise. In particular, many leasehold properties in that estate have a ground rent review every 10 years, which can be problematic for many mortgage lenders unless a deed of variation is agreed. We simply wanted to know whether the seller may be open to resolving this issue by doing a deed of variation before we spent time and money progressing with viewings, surveys, legal work, and mortgage applications. Instead of listening properly or offering to check with the seller, the agent immediately dismissed the question and repeatedly told us to speak to our solicitor. The tone throughout the conversation was rude and unprofessional. As experienced property investors who have dealt with hundreds of agents over the years, this was one of the worst interactions we have had with an estate agent. Potential buyers should be treated with professionalism and basic courtesy. Very poor communication and a disappointing experience overall.

We didn’t have the easiest property to sell however the team at Richard James Estate Agents persisted with viewings and managed to secure a sale efficiently. A special thanks to Mike who went beyond by helping with an administrative issue - much appreciated. Securing a sale is one thing however the teams willingness to see the sale through to completion was first class. I hope I have the opportunity to use Richard James. Many thanks. Ross
