A massive THANK YOU Selling our late mum’s house after she passed away in October 2024 was one of the most emotional things our family has ever had to do. We bought and sold through this estate agency and had a great experience overall. They managed 25 viewings in one week and we sold within just 9 days. The team were friendly, proactive, and easy to deal with throughout, and helped chase things up when we had delays with the buyers’ solicitors. Just returned home from an amazing 4 day get away at ‘Stay be the sea’. As a hen do party of 12, the property is well equipped, spacious and perfect for hosting. Lots of seating so we were able to all be together when eating etc, huge bedrooms and super comfy beds. Large bathrooms and lovely hot showers. 2 parking spaces directly out the front which was a bonus and 2 min walk to car park on the front for any extra cars. The location is fantastic, in between south and central pier and almost directly on the promenade made it easy to get about, plus a tram stop almost opposite made it even better. So pleased we booked this place, it made our stay all the more memorable. Big shout out to Beth who was always at the end of the phone for any questions or messages and was super prompt at answering. Can’t recommend ‘stay by the sea’ enough!

House went on market on a Thurs and sold on the Tuesday, couldn't have been happier. The sale process did take longer than expected but that was not the fault of Richard James. Initially I called and was rudely told I can’t view the property as I did not speak to their mortgage advisor, they were trying to push that on me but I refused. I reached out again and was able to book the viewing through a different agent and finally put an offer down on the property. Bryony Crookes has been helping through the initial steps and made the steps smooth. Aside from their policy of declining viewings without speaking to mortgage advisor the rest of the experience has been pleasant.

Ollie originally came out to carry out the valuation on our home and was friendly, professional and really informative from the start. He later returned to take the photos, and it was also Ollie who attended every single viewing, which was really reassuring and nice to have a familiar face each time. Ollie and the Richard James team are phenomenal. We spent months searching for the right home for myself and my partner - being first time buyers this is a daunting process. After looking in the area for months and dealing with other rubbish estate agents we had our first viewing with Ollie, even though the first 2 properties he showed us weren't for us they were 2 of the best ones we had seen... until the 3rd one where we were set on it from the moment we walked in. From us deciding to put a offer in for the property Ollie was with us the whole way and made sure everything was clear and well communicated. After our offer was accepted we had a couple of follow-up visits which were great. Ollie was also fantastic in keeping us in the loop with all our questions and updates. Further to this Ollie actually saved us time and money by sussing out a mistake from our solicitors that we were none the wiser to. This issue could've gone on for months had Ollie not intervened.
