GoogleVery pushy, extremely rude. Would not recommend to anyone.
We are really sorry to hear this Jayden, Richard Godsell always strive to provide the best possible service (as you will see from many of our previous reviews) and welcome feedback to help us improve. Could I ask which office you dealt with, the nature of your enquiry and on what property? We can then investigate this and come back to you.

GoogleMany thanks to Alastair and Marina at Richard Godsell Christchurch. Both went above and beyond to ensure our house purchase (with a chain) went through in extremely challenging timescales (less than 2 months from initial to completion, during very challenging times).PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWe have just sold for the second time with Godsells and also bought through them this time. From the initial valuation, you just know you are in safe hands. When our first buyer pulled out, Godsells found us another proceedable buyer straight away leading to completion in just 6 weeks. We never had to chase them once, we had full confidence they were making it all happen and kept us informed every step of the way. Thank you Steve, David and the team.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleTHE PEOPLE TO GO TO WHETHER YOU'RE BUYING OR SELLING! I recently bought my first flat, and despite a tight budget, Richard Godsell found me the ideal property, which I'm enjoying my first day in. My parents also recently sold a house with RG too, and were pleased with the speed and seriousness of the offers that came in. Steve was very helpful, and even during an extremely busy time with increased safety protocols, he still managed to find me time for viewings on the day. Very good communication as well. Thanks guys!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI highly recommend Stuart and his team at Richard Godsell in Southbourne. They were so helpful and supportive to us when we sold our house in 2020, right as the pandemic struck. They always kept us up-to-date, supported us when (through no fault of our/their own) our sale fell through and worked really hard to keep the whole chain moving so we could buy our dream house.

GoogleWe bought and sold our property with Richard Godsell and would highly recommend using this Agent. They are a very professional team and all have extensive knowledge of Christchurch and its surrounding area and would definitely use them again. You can be sure that they will do their best for you whether buying or selling and will always go that extra mile.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleThis was our second time using David Midgley’s agency, and the first time using Richard Godsell Christchurch. The service received from the whole team was fantastic, especially so when we were having some issues in the build up to exchange of contracts. David, Alistair and Steve went above and beyond on several occasions to make sure things ran smoothly. Godsell’s are trustworthy and reliable, 2 things vitally important in this industry, but sadly lacking in many other estate agents in Christchurch.

GoogleRichard Godsell were acting on behalf of our vendors during our recent house purchase and we were so impressed throughout. We had previously viewed several properties that Richard Godsell were marketing so we already knew Steve Leigh Bryant was head and shoulders above the other agents we were viewing properties with so we were in good hands! The sale of our property wasn't without it's problems and there were further issues at the bottom of the chain. Steve took ownership of the whole situation and was really the deciding factor in pushing the solicitors to get this sale/purchase over the line! It just wouldn't have happened without him! He kept us in the loop constantly and went the extra mile to keep us calm and always explained things in a clear and concise way. He even came in to the office during his annual leave to ensure things were happening at the point of exchange. We can't thank him enough and we would highly recommend him, and Richard Godsell, to anyone all day long. Estate Agents do get a bad rep at times unfortunately but I can assure you, Steve is a true professional that exceeded our expectations by miles.

GoogleWe have had a great experience with Richard Godsell. We were moving to the area which we did not know very well, Alastair was really helpful with sharing his knowledge on specific locations that we were considering, to help us with our choice. Once we had found a suitable property, the team at RG did a great job in ensuring the purchase completed in a reasonable time frame.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleBoth Alastair and Steve at Richard Godsell Christchurch have proved to be completely professional and attentive during challenging times of 2020. The house took a while however at no time did we even consider any other agent as we were totally confident that they were the best. We were kept informed at all times and communication was always prompt. I would happily recommend their services.
