Sometimes luck plays a huge part in a successful outcome. We don't deny that Reeds Rains Central Manchester struck gold with their one and only viewing who bought our house - a cash buyer who offered within 2 weeks of listing. We were very happy not to have endless viewings or to hang about to sell. But I'm not sure how Reeds Rains perform if the stars are not aligned . . On our side we are very experienced buyers/sellers so really managed the listing process, pricing, prep for photos efficiently . . we had a great solicitor who managed the process proactively and extremely professionally. . we knew how it all worked, were on the ball, organised, proactive . . Reeds Rains on the other hand were so unimpressive. Not proactive, not well informed, not infused with a sense of urgency. We dealt with 4 different people and their own comms and admin are very poor. For example the Sales Progressor was frustratingly non communicative and not proactive. Also management refused to engage or invest any further time with us beyond initial onboarding as a client. We paid over x4 as much for Reeds Rains than our solicitor but the division of labour was absolutely the opposite. Beware if you are not experienced in the Greater Manchester (or any other) property market, this agency is resting on its laurels, is reactive, sluggish and not accepting of constructive feedback.

I live a few hours away and Darren looked after the house and arranged all the visits with surveyors, plumbers, gardeners etc. Nothing was to much trouble. Thankyou to all the team from myself and all my family. I’m really grateful for all your support throughout the process. GoogleSarah (and, in her absence, Darren) at the Kenilworth branch of Reeds Raines handled the difficult and complicated sale of my mother's property with care, patience, experience and aplomb. We had lost a previous sale due to the time it took to work through the legal complexities but Sarah showed a great deal of tenacity, not to mention diplomacy and got the sale over the line. Above all, both she and Darren were pretty unflappable throughout, even when the parties on either side were anything but and I could not recommend Sarah and the team at this branch enough.

Before i moved in i was told the property was all electric,it is run by a Gas boiler I was without heat in very cold weather.At the very least it would be ideal if I would have been given a folder of useful information re how to use the heating controls, how to get into the metre cupboard, how to use the security intercom to let visitors in etc... I am still struggling with the gas as I dont have an account number. Ive found the whole experience very stressful

One of the WORST estate agents I've ever been with. From the onset there were issues. They'll intentionally ignore all calls and emails. I had to go legal and I also had to get the council involved due to the extent of problems. The council kept having to chase them up as they just didn't care. The landlord was an awful person who took no liability for the damages which she KNEW about. I got a prohibition on my bedroom meaning I was forced to sleep in the living room, I got no compensation or any reduction in rent. I fact they ignored any calls or emails related to that. On top of this they sold my house 4 months after moving in. This was the point they started treating me the worst. I had support letters from social workers and all types of evidence. Photos of dead rats, clothes covered in mould etc.

GoogleWe put an offer in on a house in July and predominantly dealt with Karis & Rhys. The whole process was very drawn out but at every stage both Karis & Rhys went above and beyond in supporting us. Ultimately we decided to pull out of the deal but even then the kind words from both went a long way. It was a real shame that all their hard work didn't materialise in a sale but I would have no qualms about recommending them to anyone
