I've lived in my Northstone home for a year. There were some small snags at the beginning and they were fixed quickly once reported to the customer care team. On the whole it has been a great experience living here. The bills are low due to energy efficiency, triple glazing etc. And they seem to care about creating a community. The design is definitely better than any new build I've ever seen.

GoogleHad the most rudest experience ever me and my partner had turned up to look at the show home (because we were looking for our second home) at 3pm because the website said they were open till 4pm and the salesman was complaining that he’d been there since 9am and acting like we’d personally made him come in at that time and was owed 2 hours so he was going home to which he then had a go at my partner for daring to just drop in (which the website says you can do) Safe to say just from that experience we’ve been put off buying a house from Northstone completely just from that one interaction

GoogleUPDATE - Received a response to our complaint from the Sales Director. My partner and I are very happy with the resulting conversation and follow-up site visits. Moving the rating up to 3-stars solely due to the disappointing start., , Our experience with Graeme, the sales representative for the Airie development, was truly disappointing. On Saturday, we arrived at 3 pm and were taken aback when he abruptly closed the office, attributing it to owed hours from his early 9 am start, which involved helping someone move in. During our interaction, he appeared visibly frustrated and directed his anger towards us, two potential customers seeking a new home. This frustration surfaced when I pointed out the website, which prominently states a 4 pm closing time, suggesting that it might be worth updating. Graeme suggested that we "should've made an appointment" and that "you can't just turn up." However, Northstone's website explicitly encourages visitors to "Book a visit to see our beautiful show homes in person or simply call in.". This information is placed prominently under a header that says "We’d love to welcome you for a brew!". Right from the beginning, Graeme's demeanour was dismissive. It's important to note that his early start was not our fault, and it was disappointing that he chose to take this out on prospective customers. We were unable to view any show homes, and as a result of Graeme's behaviour, Northstone has now found a place on our "avoid" list. Just for clarity, we were not first-time buyers; we previously purchased from a large volume builder 3-4 years ago. We were exploring whether a smaller builder would provide a more personal experience and better-quality construction. We have already emailed a formal complaint to Northstone (I did this from the visitor parking bay out of sheer frustration) and are eagerly awaiting their response.

GoogleThe show home is lovely. Kate, the manager isn't pushy at all just leaves you to have a look around at your own pace, really professional and helpful.

GoogleI bought a 4-bedroom unit, I've been living in it for almost 1 month, the quality of the materials is very good and it was delivered within the expected time frame, Kate's service was 5 stars. The only point really is that there were several small snags to be tidied up, but they are tidying everything up little by little. When they're finished, maybe I'll come back here and raise my review to 5 stars.

For two years, there has been a decline in the quality of customer service. Numerous tickets, even those on the inspection list, have been closed without the consent of the owner. Service representatives occasionally visit, but subsequently discontinue contact without resolving the issues. Currently, homeowners are instructed to contact suppliers directly to claim their warranties. I am tired of chasing and monitoring whether my tickets being close suddenly by the company.

Shocking developers! At a glance you have a perfect home. T hey promise you it’s a top quality home with all the mod cons real wood floors top appliances and also comes with EV charger. We thought this is for us and with an EV charger it sealed the deal. Well….. Moved in dec 22 and nothing but problems that no one seems to want to fix! Full of faculae promises but no actions. External door handles keep coming off in our hands, back door is that stiff to pull the handle to lock it you have to literally hang off it to close. The wood floor!!! Erm vinyl panels that lift all the time. No wood in sight. The move in day opened the door and the house was dirty and dusty, they had only hoovered upstairs carpet but skirting boards and sides are dusty. floor glue literally all over the vinyl panels upstairs and down. Green fluid on doors and skirting boards, some doors cut 3” from the floors you can get your whole hand underneath. No EV charger for 7 months but only because I was complaining constantly as we have an electric vehicle. The heating was connected wrong the upstairs controlled downstairs and vice verser. Appliances x3 either don’t work or not working properly. Everything seems rushed and botched and the builders don’t seem to care they book a day and time to come then on the day make some excuse not to come or just don’t turn up. The amount of days I have taken off work is ridiculous. The money we pay for this property is really high so I expected everything to be working and what I signed for. I would seriously think twice before buying/renting a property that had been built by northstone.
