GoogleIf I could give 6 stars I would. The team (Alex in particular) have been excellent. From start to finish the service has been honest, supportive, professional and timely. Communication has been so well handled and it has helped so much. When I got local recommendations, they were the winners and I am so glad that I used the team. Thank you Nicholsons. You are brilliant.

GoogleBought a house through Nicholsons and only have positive remarks for them. We did the viewing and all the purchase admin through the branch manager, Alex, who was well informed, helpful and professional throughout the whole thing (thank you Alex!). It was clear he cared for both us and his vendors and did what he could to make sure both sides were happy even when we had some trouble with survey results. When he wasn't in, there was always another team member who would pick up any emails etc. I think it says a lot about an estate agent when they manage to get multiple offers on a house in two days when it had previously been on the market for two months with another agent with no luck. I'd absolutely consider using Nicholsons if I were selling a house in the future. They really made an effort with us compared to other agents selling other properties we looked at.

GoogleWe bought a property with Nicholsons estate agents in fleet recently and despite not normally leaving reviews I wanted to share my experience as moving is a stressful process, having also sold a property with another agent in another area I have something to use as a direct comparison, as things progress you want to keep being updated which I found to be a constant problem generally speaking if i wanted to know about a latest update I needed to chase for information this is in relation to the other agent and solicitor, I dealt with Graham and Lewis and for the majority of the time the branch manager Alex Halfacre at Nicholsons estate agent, Alex gave me updates as he received them, answered any questions I had and was prompt in replying to emails and always polite and courteous, he also asked the other agent to chase our buyer more than once as things were stalling and it seemed as if they were dragging their heels, I hope I have moved for the last time but If I were to or if someone asked me to recommend a local agent I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Nicholsons estate agents in fleet, I want to thank Graham and Lewis for dealing with any queries I had if Alex wasn't available and to Alex for making a long winded process (because of issues at the other end) run more smoothly with his prompt and helpful service, thank you Nicholsons we did it you helped us achieve our goal we very much appreciate your help in making this happen thank you Kind regards Matt and Michele

Although, it took slightly longer than expected I was I was kept up to date with any updates and if I had any questions they was answered quickly and informatively. Ash was very helpful through the process, as well as other members who I spoke to.

GoogleI truly believe the marketing (images and videos) taken and distributed by Nicholson’s are the best in the market. They have a large social media following which encourages interest and ultimately viewings. The What’s app group created means you can always get in touch with someone quickly and efficiently. The support given once a sale had been agreed was absolutely awesome, keeping us up to date and supporting with information on the chain. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

GoogleHi From start to finish Nicholsons have been amazing. They keep you informed and up to speed at all times and have answered anything we have needed to ask . Its might have a been stressful time selling my late father’s property but Nicholsons have been helpful and professional throughout. A special mention to Ash for all his help through this process. There are companies out there cheaper but I believe you get what you pay for and this is definitely the case with Nicholsons. The house sold within a week and they have guided us through the process excellently. A big thank you to all the team there at Nicholsons great job . I won’t hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future . Cheers Mark Smith

GooglePoor service, really disappointed originally went to use Kendra Jacob’s. Following Kendra leaving the sale was slow, constantly having to chase for progress updates. Multiple issues. Would never use again. Unprofessional ash ringing regarding selling one of my other properties with another estate agent to see if she had used there buyer informing me I’d be changed twice. This sale was nothing to do with Nicolson's. In completion over charged and had to get this rectified. Very disappointed in the service
Thank you for your review, I’m sorry that you feel dissapointed in the service that you have received. I’ve looked into your points and cannot see any evidence to support a claim that the sale was slow or that we have acted in any way unprofessionally. Between your sale being agreed, and it completing 97 days passed. This is significantly quicker than the current national average which has been recently quoted by rightmove as being 150 days. The transaction was slowed by additional surveys being required around damp and timber issues which were discovered during your buyers survey, which we cannot be held responsible for. With regards to Ash’s call - let’s add a bit of context. The property Ash called you regarding was one which you had on the market, and which had been Sold STC with Nicholsons until the beginning of December 2023, the buyer withdrew from the transaction around issues that you were having in getting the tenant at the property to leave in order to provide you buyer with vacant possesion. After the buyer withdrew, you chose to remove the house from the market until the tenant vacated. It is normal practice for agents to monitor properties withdrawn by their owners, and when we spotted that your property had been re-listed with another agent, and subsequently sold quickly and also received a call from your solicitor requesting an invoice for of our fees, we wanted to check that it wasn’t the same buyer which we had introduced previously. The reason for this, is that there is a standard clause in an estate agency sole selling rights agreement, including the one which you signed with us, that if a buyer that the agent introduced subsequently goes on to exchange contracts on the property after the seller has withdrawn it from the market with the selling agent, the agent is still entitled to a commission fee. There are time limits on this clause, but as we were within 6 months of the property being withdrawn from us the clause was still in effect. Often a new agent does not make a seller aware of their contractual obligations to the first agent, so we wanted to make you aware of this if the buyer was in fact the same individual. Ash’s call wasn’t unprofessional, in fact we would argue the opposite - not making you aware your potential contractual position would, in my view, have been unprofessional. After you confirmed that the buyer was a newly introduced party by the second agent the matter was cleared up for all parties. GoogleWhat can I say ?!! I would highly recommend Mark and his team at Nicholson’s Estate Agents; my house sold subject to contract in TWO DAYS of promotion and before going on Rightmove. Mark’s professionalism and knowledge of the business is without question. He leaves you feeling encouraged and assured that your house will sell if marketed at the right price. In addition his admin team keep you in the loop and update you on a regular basis on how your sale is progressing. In my opinion they are a highly reputable company and go the extra mile for their clients. My house sale is now completed and took 12 weeks from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone to take Mark’s advice when choosing a solicitor to act on your behalf.
