I had the misfortune of renting a room through Move On for the past couple of years and all I can say they are epitome of what is wrong with rental agencies in this country. They were constantly late on replying to queries and repairs. I had no light in my bathroom and no extractor fan for months and it was only after pestering them constantly did they bother to do anything about it. There were constant unannounced intrusions into the building, especially for viewings, even though that is a requirement they are meant to adhere to. When I left, they had the sheer greed and audacity to try and take the majority of my deposit for spurious reasons (including a claim for £150 for a new mattress!) Luckily I was able to get most of this back through the deposit protection scheme via disputing it. My advice is, if you see a room for rent and it's operated by Move on, run away!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Where do I begin? I have sold 3 properties in the past 4 years and the service from Craig and his team has been the best by a mile. From the initial enquiry to arranging viewing and communicating offers Craig has been on the ball. Really bad experience as a tenant. Nearly a week without hot water in the shower, reported to Move On several times by different tenants without any response. A leak in the kitchen's ceiling for months, again reported many times with promises that it would be fixed but without actual work done. My experience with MoveOn from the moment I called to check if a property is available (to which I was told it was not, and then recommended the perfect flat I am living in now) to the constant care and attention I have received since beginning my tenancy has been flawless, My viewing was dealt with by Adam who was very friendly, efficient and professional, the moving process was easy and professional (despite the difficulties with Lockdown and social distancing) and I would like to commend Tabitha above all else as she has been quick, kind and professional with the multitude of questions and concerns I have had along the way giving me complete confidence in their services, and the service does not end once the move is completed as she continues to help with every query I have had to the best of their ability in a very friendly and timely manner. If I could put 0 stars I would. The lack of communication has been shocking both on the phone and in store! Spoke to someone in store who was extremely rude! Very unhelpful as currently have an on going issue with water, this has been going on for over a week and I am STILL waiting for this issue to be resolved! Shocking service and communication would not recommend!

Since moving to the area I was recommended to use this agency by a friend who used them. I now no longer speak to that friend all because of Move On. They are a very manipulative company who take it upon themselves to walk into your home whenever they see fit all in order to maximise sales and profit. The office, the staff, it is all very nice seemingly until you choose to leave, such as you do after a period of time and they want to keep your money and penalise you for things they cannot prove was you. They blamed my other house mates for agreeing viewing times and played us off of each other, they really are very good at mind games. In fact I can predict the moment this gets posted, I will get an email, a voicemail pleading with me to take the post down so we can talk it through and sort out the issues. They are unresolvable, you shouldn't have taken advantage of your costumers for so long when you did and the fact we are now prepared to stand up for ourselves and write honest feedback shows that there is now more than just the odd dissatisfied customer. Please do not ring me as I will not remove this post, let the people decide whether they want to use you, but at least give them the true facts to make an informed decision.

Beware they will try to take your deposit!! The most unprofessional letting agent, at first they come across nice but once you have signed the contract it all changes, they charge you fees for everything and want to visit the propery every 3 months, poor communication and terrible maintenance things never get done. When we finally decided to move out they put us through so much such stress!! They tried to take all our deposit plus charge us hundreds ££ on top!! They would find any excuse not to give us our deposit back, expample the flat wasn't clean enough so Move on got a cleaning company to quot over the top price and try to charge us! They threaten us to make the payment otherwise we won't get our deposit. We asked to appeal and turns out that none of their point was relevant and we got out deposit back! We are so glad to have left move on! You been warned! Abosutley shocking!
