GoogleThis agency is incredible! Everyone I’ve dealt with has been so helpful, kind and efficient. I’ve been renting in the UK for nearly seven years and I’ve honestly never come across an agency quite like this one. They’re always quick to respond, genuinely care about helping, and any issues are dealt with promptly and professionally.
I’d especially like to mention Hayley, who has been absolutely lovely throughout. She is incredibly responsive, helpful and always so quick to get things sorted. She always makes you feel like nothing is too much trouble and that she genuinely wants to help.

GoogleI had a very friendly and helpful agent supporting my purchase - I made an offer which was accepted - but sadly maskells didn't know or inform themselves that the property they just accepted my offer for had a sitting tenant. I had to pull out 5 month later and no financial contribution or support from Maskells for my solicitor fees, as they said they have done all the due diligence... which clearly missed the sitting tenant.... so therefore before making and offer with this estate agent I would be very careful as clearly they don't take any responsibility when things go wrong.

We hear your frustration, share it and we have corresponded with you about this transaction. As we explained the matter is out of our control. While of course we are unable to discuss the details of a sale (which you are aware of), in a public forum if a property is tenanted or occupied, particularly given the circumstances around this property, which we notified you of as soon as we became aware, there is always a small chance that the occupier may not move out. The situation is most unfortunate, but we have always approached this sale and indeed any sale in good faith and in this case, solicitors and other parties were involved. To lay the blame solely at our feet with a 1 star review is, in our opinion, tantamount to shooting the messenger.

Having lived in the UK for over 15 years and dealt with many tenancy and managing agents during that time, we can confidently say that the level of service we have received from Maskells is genuinely above and beyond anything we have experienced before.
