Googleif i could give them 0 i would. The WORST agency. Do not take students seriously at all. We have had the WORST experience living with them. Suffering a leak in october through our ceiling we are still sending emails (that are continuing to be ignored) in order to have our property fixed after the damage the leak caused. Emails go ignored, they don’t have the time of day to speak to you. We have had no wifi throughout exam season and it has taken us going in MULTIPLE times for them to do the BARE MINIMUM. i’m in my third year and living with loc8 me has only added to my stress. it has been incredibly unpleasant and their lack of communication is disgraceful. Our property has had problem after problem which could have been resolved if they bothered to reply to our emails and maintenance requests. Do not sign a contract with this company.

GoogleAvoid Loc8me at all costs! My shower's been broken and despite warnings from contractors they are just now thinking of fixing it. Another flatmate's bathroom had a leak in October, and it's now January-only just fixed. The manager promised compensation, then denied it and offered a meager goodwill gesture. We've faced passive-aggressive comments throughout. Loc8me's lack of urgency, broken promises and unprofessionalism make them the worst agency. Save yourself the frustration; look elsewhere for a more competent and respectful service.

GoogleRik, our property agent, has been simply wonderful and an utter pleasure to have had in our corner since he took over our property. Having faced various challenges during our time, he has been responsive, proactive and above all, transparent! Genuinely, we have been kept informed all throughout any work that has needed to be done, and have been made to feel very safe and cared for in our property. I very much so doubt that you will come across another University property agent that does their job as well as Rik!

GoogleDon't use this company. They were really unhelpful and unempathetic when I lived there. I've now moved out and I've been promised my deposit back for 3 months yet I've still not received it

GoogleI wrote my previous review and since then I wholeheartedly wanted to give it another try but, shoot me, I should have minded my business. I don’t even want to get into how I received a call from their representative charged with an accusatory and passive aggressive tone regarding my review and not even to discuss my concerns; it flopped massively as they did not do proper research beforehand. Nonetheless, I received an advert talking about re-signing in October(which included details such as no moving hassles as I would have stayed in the same place and re-signing perks) and I incessantly asked for more information about it, to which I continuously got ignored and when I managed to speak to someone, no one was able to give me more information about it. Come January I find out that it is not true and I could possibly stay in the same building but I would have to move rooms(which defeats the “no moving hassle” as I would in fact still have to move). Now, some might say that the previous review was too harsh(even though so many people found it useful) but, I wouldn’t want anyone else to enter such a housing/letting situation without knowing what they are getting themselves into. Therefore I reiterate; if you are a fan of headaches, being ignored and going around in circles, by all means patronise them, after all life is all about experiences!

GoogleWe have checked out the GraceDieu court for more than 2 months but the deposit has not been returned to us so far. When we asked the staffs of Lock8me Loughborough. They cannot answer when then deposit will be refunded to us. When we keep asking, they just asked us to check the landlord. Come on, Lock8me is the property agent for us including checkin and checkout and they handle all the details of rental fee and deposit but now it seems they have no responsibility nor work to follow this outstanding issue.

GoogleThe letting agents were nice enough but they allowed the current tenants of the place we wanted to view to refuse us a viewing. Hella weird situation dragged out for weeks. wouldn’t recommend

Google0 stars if that could be an option, just take your money and run. Has been 5 weeks now and still havent fixed our appliances. They supposedly schedule work to be done but never show.

GoogleNot very helpful. We pay extortionate prices to live as students in Loughborough and the service does not match this. I have to repeatedly ask many times to get minor pieces of maintenance done and I think for what we pay this is incredibly rubbish.

GoogleBronnie was fantastic, took us to a wide selection of houses closely following our description on what we were after. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and an unbelievable parallel parker. Would highly recommend going through Loc8te me if you want excellent customer service and a huge selection of housing.

GoogleAndrew Chell was a good landlord last year, should’ve stayed with him because he actually gets things sorted. We have been without a washing machine now for over a month, they sent a guy out 3 weeks ago and we haven’t heard anything since. When we messaged about updates on WhatsApp we were told to get back to them at 1pm when the maintenance team gets back?? One time we messaged about a note being slipped under our door (to the previous tenant) saying that all the belongings will be taken away as debt collection and they replied to us to us with a Halloween party invitation. Honestly such a joke of an agency.
