The houses are built so poor and cheap! We have had no end of problems with Linden homes who is owned by Vistry group. Eastern area.We have listed 30 problems since moving into our home less than a year ago.I wish I had never bought our new home with them, their customer service is awful and so impersonal, you're just another number to them and they always blame the tenant for problems. We speak with Nicola and Victoria from Vistry Groups and have had so many issues with no communication. You're constantly chasing. Please do not buy with them.

The Build quality is atrocious, customer services team are even worse. I can’t believe that in this day and age, companies like this are allowed to trade. They lie, overpromise and don’t deliver and don’t return calls. This has been ongoing for two years plus. Our home is currently on the market and two of the three toilets are blocked yet again due to inadequate drainage. Google this before you buy and you will see the truth about Vistry Homes/Linden Homes.

In buying a linden home on kirkletham green, I have found the whole experience great, Ben jack, Karl and kev have been helpful from start to finish, yes we have had snags to get completed but that was to be expected, but working together we have solved most, we had no internet for 6 weeks (due to open reach) but Ben and Jack let us use there dongle for the whole time. Nothing is too much trouble.If I was to put a suggestion forward for the company it would be to have a team of work people who can do your snags when your home but when you work Monday to Friday this is not the case at the moment. Ben jack Karl and kev keep doing what your doing and thank you for making our move into our forever home a good decision.

After logging a leak coming through our bay window in our new build on 2nd November, we’re still waiting for a repair.No contractor has been sent out to attend the leak and we now have water pooling in through our ceiling, pulling off the plaster and damaging our floor. What can I say - their team are helpful when they’re on site and want you to rate them highly in their customer satisfaction surveys. But when there’s a real issue, their customer service team aren’t exactly responsive. I sat on hold for over an hour to the out of hours emergency line and no answer.

Just moved into the new Willow Woods development in Ely. Very happy with our home. Damien & the sales team have been great and the Site Manager Mike is super helpful, considerate and professional. Couple of small snags but nothing major and house looks great. Knocked off a star for how Head Office handled an issue with our part exchange. I thought that was cheap of them and we nearly pulled out but glad we didn’t as love the house and the area. Fingers crossed the love continues, will update if it doesn’t but for now, we would definitely recommend.

I moved in my first home at the end of September and even since there has been nothing but problems. The first day I moved in, my fob to get into the communal entrance was broken so I had to ask a neighbour to let me in which is very frustrating. When I walked into my home there was a massive hole in the wall and dirt all over the floor which the builders left, Linden Homes acted confused and said they ‘didn’t know it was there’ I then had to wait over a week for this to be rectified. The lock on my front room window was broken so I wasn’t able to open it let alone close it, in the freezing cold months it was causing my property to be extremely cold throughout. The estate agent asked a builder to come and fix this, they never showed up the first time, when they eventually did it was even managed to be fixed - the window is still broken 4 months later. The lift was out of service for around 3 weeks after I moved in, surely this is what I am paying my service charge for? Linden homes never informed me on the bin shed code, so I have had to ask around and eventually find out from an on site builder what the code is, this is basic information which I should have found out on the day I moved in. I was given the incorrect water supplier so I have been awaiting a letter from them which obviously never arrived as it was the incorrect company. The entire process has been a nightmare, the communication and professionalism is awful. I would not recommend at all!

We had it inspected by a 3rd party and though there are some minor snags, there are no major issues. We've been in for 3 weeks now. Linden have been in touch and proactive on any issues so far.We love the house and compared to what we viewed prior to this it is about 10% cheaper than others we looked at in the same area and much better with an incredible view.Customer service initially was not good at all. Mainly that e-mails and phone calls never got answered, Donna would not answer my calls and never answered my e-mails. I would have to go into the sales office on site on most occasions.However, since Alex arrived in the office, she always comes back to me and has been very helpful. Clive, the Site Manager is also great - both are a pleasuer to deal with.We are first-time buyers, being a new build under construction when we exchanged was unusual but we got to chose all our own features and extras and are really happy with the result.

Never buy from them, customer service was good in the beginning, once you changed your contract, no anyone replies you anymore. One of the worst companies I've dealt with for general communication - You go through the motions for share-to-buy but when it comes to signing up and paying a deposit, can you get hold of them? Three times, with three (phone) eligibility interviews, numerous personal data sent and then they are impossible to contact and just don't return calls, voicemails & e-mails. They then call out of the blue asking if I am still searching for a property. I said yes I am, just not with them anymore because of the above. This lot are ranked joint bottom with Bromford (New Homes) for basic communication/courtesy. Just not worth the time as they appear to not be interested and/or any good.

Would definitely consider looking at other new-build companies and homes in Bristol and avoiding this one. (Taylor Wimpy, Brabazon, Barrett and Bellway all have new build sites across Bristol) When purchasing they don’t tell you the kitchen is a bog standard white, and all you’re choosing is the doors, they sell it like the kitchen would match the doors (like it should) so all other panels like the corners, centre posts, ends and top edging is in the cheapest bog-standard white. A massive cost saving issues which seems to be their main priority across the board, which isn’t what you’d expect when paying the prices you do. I’m now left with a grey and part while kitchen that looks odd and not done properly. When contacting Vistry and linden, was told they’re not willing to do anything whatsoever and if I wanted it sorted I would have to get it done myself. Only reason I’ve given 2 and not 1 stars is because the sales woman Tina has generally been excellent and helpful, but the money saving over customer satisfaction mentality is very disappointing.

One of the worst built houses I’ve ever seen. A three year old could make a better construction with cardboard.The builders are using such random cheap crap from Germany and it’s impossible to source to fix. Snag work? Don’t get me started. The builders are stupid, lazy and use apprentices with no supervision.The building architect must have been high as a kite designing a house with a super flat roof made of some plastic crap that leaks!My garden was buried full of crap from the builders. The walls are so thin that an ant could far and blow them down. Customer service is a joke, they just want your money and they don’t give a toss. They’re flogging honest to god death traps with fault after fault and I can see someone being seriously hurt or worse. Profits before bloody people indeed. Don’t buy a house from these fools, don’t rent one, don’t even look at them. Summary here, houses are cheap and built with Mickey Mouse materials. The builders don’t sort snags, and when they do, they ultimately make them worse. Houses are badly designed by what I’m assuming is a Child architect.Customer service is like chewing a brick.It’s just not worth the stress. If you sell up, you push the rubbish onto the next poor undeserving sod.Awful experience.
