We recently bought and sold through Lang Town & Country (Plymstock Branch) and the service we received was superb. They sold our flat within a couple of weeks of going on the market and hand held us through the purchase of our new house. We were complete newbies to the process so had lots of questions and needed plenty of reassuring along the way which they dealt with in a patient and professional manner. Special mention to Andy Genge who dealt with everything in a calm and assured way which was crucial to our stress levels during exchange and completion! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

very helpful and friendly i went for a viewing with them and nothing was too much trouble and they knew their stuff came across Professional and experienced and really feed me loads of info that was probably common to most clients but was all new to me and really helped and explained bits unfortunately I didn’t go through with the buy but would and have definitely recommended them :) thanks Becky :)

After a long search we found our dream home though Lang Town & Country. We really appreciated the extra lengths every member of the Plymstock office went too find out answers to our many questions. Nothing was too much trouble. The Photographs & floor plans portrayed an accurate description of our property. I can't believe that some estate agents still promote properties with poor images while others do not even offer simple floor plans!!! My husband and I bought our first home from Lang Town and Country and we couldn't be happier there three years on. When we went to receive our keys for the property the team presented us with a welcome card and package for moving in - a bottle of champagne with all the necessities and temporary fixes: kitchen roll tea towels washing up liquid thick plastic wine glasses plastic cups cleaning products and cloths It was such a lovely gesture and really did help us for when we started moving into the property. The team were always helpful and had time for us. They made moving home really easy and enjoyable.

I have seen several flats n Plymouth with this lettings agency: I must congratulate with them for how professional they are! Last Saturday Tony showed me a couple of flats in the Hoe, he knew everything about them; he was able to advice me on which property would have fitted well for my needs, and how to negootiate with the Landlord! Terrible letting Agency! Please avoid. They seem to be really helpful and supportive at first but once you pay the (overly expensive) fee's they completely ignore you. When you inform them of corrections and problems they wont act on them. We had many issues with the property we rented and I had to call them incessantly for maintenance. Not once did I receive help on calling the offices to report a problem, they always said "leave it with me and I'll sort it" or "she's not in right now, can I take a message" and then you would not hear from them again. In the end we had to fix all the problems ourselves. I felt awkward talking to the staff they were rude and un trustworthy. We finished the tenancy and left the property completely spotless having had the carpets professionally cleaned ect only for them to waltz round with a camera, putting it on the floor taking pictures of minute amounts of dust! We were charged £180 for cleaning! We tried to dispute but they wanted more money for sending someone to the property again to take more pictures. Just awful! Avoid.

Please avoid this agent. Having been a good tenant for 2 years we have recently moved out. We left the flat in a very clean state - they have now withheld £250 of the deposit over cleanliness providing photos of tiny corners of cupboards I can't even prove is our flat ... On asking to return to flat apparently cleaning has been done already(?!) - they will not provide receipts and they want £120 to "repair" picture hooks holes which were there when we moved in. We are so stunned as bent over backwards to let landlord sell this flat allowing the new buyers have viewing ensuring the flat was in great conditions. This agency neither treat you with respect or loyalty - expect to lose your deposit - they will fleece you and ignore your sensibility on the subject of how wrong the situation is. My complaint is going in to the Property Ombudsman as we speak. Dreadful and most unethical. Please avoid for your own preservation and sanity.

I needed to find a place to stay in Plymouth quickly, Town and County lettings were very accommodating I approached several agents but this agent was able to show me a property the same day for a reasonable price, a modest one bedroom flat in a great location on The Hoe. They even provided a bottle of wine when moving in. They were happy to attend to serious maintenance problems quickly and were always friendly and approachable at their office and easily accessible on the phone. They returned my deposit quickly and efficiently.
