Both lovely and extremely helpful and will always do what they say they are going to do and put your needs first. Always on hand to answer any queries you may have - no matter how small or silly they might sound. The actual buying process was very smooth. Louise was there every step of the way and could be called on at anytime and made the whole process as stressfree as she could. Since moving in Jason has been lovely. Checking in.making sure everything is OK and that I'm happy with everything. Always visible so you know if you do need anything you can get to him straight away. He is very professional,very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Overall lovely house and a great team. Highly recommend.

I have just moved into a house in Willow Grove/Pickford Gate. I can honestly say it has been so easy. Louise was my 1st exposure to the area. She was lovely, very helpful and not at all dismissive like some other companies were. I really liked the fact she didnt push the sale. She made sure I took the time to think about things before I committed. A huge selling point for me. The actual buying process was smooth. I used their recommended mortgage company and it was easy. So helpful. Going back to Louise after the mortgage etc was sorted, she was so helpful in choosing colours etc. Even with my indecisiveness there was never any pushing or her getting fed up. I felt so at ease with her.

I Bought my first home with Lagan back in June this year, sales team and site managers have been very proactive, friendly and helpful right from the start, and continue to be to this day! At one point I discovered a leak in the hallway ceiling and alerted the site managers to this, they had someone round to fix it the next day free of charge. Lagan also offer very good first time buyer incentives, would recommend!

GoogleTake a look at some of the "high standards" from this developer in the photos. Every wall inside the property is hollow and cold to touch. Did they forget to put the insulation in? Need to arrange a survey to find out. The heating and hot water wasn't working properly for over two months which meant I couldn't have a hot bath or shower. Cooker outlet damaged and installed upside down inside a cupboard. Bath not installed level with loose handles and poorly fitted front panel. Cracked tile behind shower. Bathroom floor hacked and not properly finished behind sink. Pieces of plastic hacked and used to hide red waste pipe collar behind toilet which should have been removed. Bathroom and kitchen floors not fitted straight and poorly cut with turned up bits stuck to kitchen units. Water supply to washing machine didn't work and washing machine did not fit under counter which took over a month for the developer to fix. Now there is a large gap in the floor and the developer simply wants to cover it with mastic (cowboys love their mastic guns). Kitchen windowsill not level. Front and back doors catching. Poor quality decorating. Gaps in floor by front and back doors which meant I had to change carpet fitting date. Builders dumping metal fencing behind the property. No recycling due to access issues. Extra council tax to Allesley Parish Council for no services because the boundary hasn't been changed. Restrictions on broadband providers with strange names you've never heard of. Gas and electricity meters crossed with neighbouring property because someone wrongly changed the plot numbers. All things I wasn't told. The property looks nice at first glance but that's about it. Awful experience overall and still trying to get repairs done.
Edit: See how the developer does not want to take responsibility for its poor workmanship. Only one job was booked which I rearranged myself. Neither the developer nor Citizen has attempted to address any other issues and continues to ignore my complaints.
Update: Housing Enforcement from the council coming to inspect the property (14/03/25) because repairs still not being done and developer continues to dump rubbish behind the property.
Update 28/03/25: I have now been in the property for 4 months. The developer is still refusing to carry out repairs and is now trying to blame me for its shoddy workmanship. This developer is a compulsive liar and motivated by greed. Everything is rushed to meet deadlines and corners are cut to make money. The developer does not care about the state of the site or the condition of its properties because people will still buy them. I'm glad I'm only renting so at least I can hold Citizen to account (which is just as incompetent as the developer).

We have made efforts to arrange a suitable date for attendance to address these defects; however, the proposed dates were deemed unsuitable by yourself and subsequently cancelled. Additionally, we have requested alternative dates from you that would work, but we have not received a response to date.
We remain committed to resolving this matter and will continue to work through the appropriate channels, Citizen Housing, to arrange attendance and resolve the defects.

GoogleThere were issues with the floor before we moved in, they fixed downstairs, did part of the top floor but said they would come back to fix the rest of the top floor. They never returned and are now refusing to fix the flooring saying I've used a steam mop. How can I have used a steam mop before I got the keys? I don't have a steam mop, or used one.
Edit: The issue on the top floor was there before I moved in. How could I have caused this? It's not possible.

We understand your concerns regarding the flooring. To clarify, the issues with the uneven flooring on the ground floor were addressed promptly by our flooring contractor.
Regarding the upstairs flooring, following an investigation, it was noted that the lifting appeared to be caused by a cleaning device. We advised that the use of steam mops is not recommended for LVT flooring like Karndean, as moisture can seep beneath the planks and cause them to lift. It’s important to mention that, despite these findings, the contractor did replace some of the upstairs planks at no additional cost to you.
We also provided cleaning guidance from Karndean to assist with proper maintenance and hope this helps in preventing future concerns. Since the causes of the issues on the ground floor and the top floor are different, there may not be any further action we can take unless a defect is identified.

Extremely poor customer service. We brought our home with Lagan in Mach 2024. Found there is flooring issue in Jan 2024 and they agreed to fix it before we moved in. However, there was nothing done and we put this issue on our snagging list and hope they will fix it at some point. The site people are lovely which they viewed and took picture of the issue then confirm they will pass the issue to customer care. Now customer care denied there is a problem and said it was us not following the product care instruction which caused the damages. Even you have all the evidence and dated picture they still denied the problem! Reconsider if your are thinking to buy a all ready to move in new build home as there is no after sell customer service.
