GoogleOur overall experience with the estate agents went smoothly however when we initially went for a viewing of the property before purchasing we were told there was full electricity in the outer building but there wasn’t once we got the keys, also a few repairs e.g, some internal doors weren’t in a good condition which we were not told or made aware of as access to those areas were locked. Other than that everything was fine.

We are sorry you felt the way you did about the property you bought from us. We have checked the write up of that property and it does say the outbuilding is electric ready which means all the electrics are done in the building but it still needs connecting to a mains supply. As for the conditions of the doors, again we have checked and nothing was locked as far as we can ascertain. We never have and never will try and hide any problems with any of our properties we sell.

GoogleI don't have enough praise for Jukes. They made the seemingly impossible not only possible but easy. Meaning that my dream move, which had fallen through with another estate agent, actually happened. With the previous estate agents I had faced delays, silences, untruths, immense stress & ultimately defeat, so I really do know how much of a step above Jukes are. Lee & Geoff are really approachable & they know their stuff & the area. I wish I'd gone with them from the start, but I did get bullied into a contract by the other estate agents using false promises & fear tactics. I actually saved a bit of money compared to the sale that had fallen through due to the purchaser paying Jukes' fees.

GoogleAbsolute cowboys, do not even think about using these so called agents, they anre after a quick commission and I will be taking them to court very soon.
I am a Landlord who has been using Estate Agents all my life, I have rented tens of properties in the last 30 years and have never come across such shady individuals in my time. The two main individuals I would be careful are Alex the manager and Aysha who works there.
They are shockingly bad when it comes to promises, therefore, be very careful when signing documents, double check and if need be triple check - even better make sure your solicitor checks them.
They introduced a tenant from hell to me under false pretences and claimed that she was in full time employment while she was receiving benefits.
This tenant stayed at my property for two months without paying a single penny of rent or bills and trashed the house before moving out. When I raised these concerns they completely ignored my comments and ignored my calls.
They charged my circa £1500 in commission for this tenant.
I have followed due process and in talks with the ombudsman at the moment and while that is happening, I will be starting a civil claim where I will sue them massively.
Do not make the mistake of trusting them as I did! You can tell my their presentation and offices on the shady aspects of the agency, I should have walked away when they called me!
Absolutely shocking business that should not be operating!

For clarity, you entered into a signed agreement with our agency, and we carried out the service that was contractually agreed. The tenant was referenced and introduced in line with standard industry practice, and our fees were charged exactly as set out in the signed terms.
We appreciate that lettings can sometimes be challenging, but issues relating to a tenant’s conduct after moving in are unfortunately beyond the control of any agent once the tenancy has begun. We always advise landlords to ensure that appropriate insurance and safeguards are in place to mitigate such risks.
We have engaged with you regarding your concerns, and as you mention, the matter is now being reviewed by the Property Ombudsman. We will fully cooperate with that process, as we take compliance and transparency very seriously.
