GoogleWhere very unhelpful when buying from them quite rude on the phone would not recommend them

GooglePoor experience selling with John Minnis. Didn't feel they did enough to actually sell the house and get the right viewers through the door in numbers, once sale agreed I didn't feel they kept on top of the case well enough and were poor in communicating with the various parties involved. My case turned out to be a difficult one given unique circumstances of covid, which is obviously beyond the control of JM but the issues are not solely related to that. Every time I rang I always seemed to be told "I was just about to call you". We randomly had our main contact in the office changed halfway through. Every time I spoke on the phone I would get talked over rather than listened to. Overall just did not feel like a valued customer, it's probably a different experience if you're selling a £1m property. My case was eventually escalated to John Minnis himself, which I did appreciate speaking to him, however some of the information given to me buy him turned out to be inaccurate and the conversation was not followed up with an email as promised. There are less expensive solicitors out there who will potentially offer you a better value for money service. Giving 1 star would be unfair, as when push came to shove they did do some good work but only when things were at absolute breaking point. Overall disappointing experience with a name that is so well respected in the area. Hopefully my case was a one off and others have a far better time with them.

GoogleRental review. Cancelled initial appointment viewing with hours notice after flying from Gatwick, no apology. Slow to reply, not told when going on annual leave, moved goal posts regarding evidence. My time was wasted. Abbie was my point of contact and no one else was able to talk on her behalf. Wouldn't recommend.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleOne of the few estate agents I’d recommend doing business with. Chris and the entire team are polite, friendly and professional. They are very responsive to correspondence and keep you informed of developments. They made the process of selling my home simple and stress free.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleHad an appointment to view a rental property....called to confirm the appointment that morning as I was asked to do. Waited at the property and no one showed. Wasted mine and my sisters time. Seems they dont want the business?? I'm sure the property owner wouldnt be impressed.
