GoogleI am extremely disappointed with my experience with Jennings&Barret . Despite receiving confirmation for a viewing appointment, I arrived at the property to find no agent present. First, someone said a viewing was taking place inside the property and asked me to wait outside. After waiting for 30 minutes, I called again and was then told there was no appointment scheduled for me. On a rescheduled visit the next day, the agent still failed to show up without any prior notice. When I contacted the office again, I was initially told there was no appointment scheduled. Only after further investigation was I informed that the agent was sick and will not be coming to show the property. And asked me to reschedule the appointment for next week. This lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. I have never encountered such issues with other real estate agents. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

We are really sorry this happened. I personally checked yesterday with my colleague that they would be there today. That person was sick and failed to advise the Saturday staff . It should not have happened and our systems failed. We are a small business and it is always disappointing when we let someone down like this . We will be sending you a shopping voucher as an apology. I understand that today you didn't wish to wait for someone to get to the property. If you do want to view the property still my colleague will call you Tuesday to arrange this.

Googlein the last few months i have enquired about two commercial properties that were put on the market on the same day i contacted.....when i called i was told i would get a call back..never got a call on both occasions... worst Estate agents i have dealt with

Perhaps it was a similarly named agent who also operates in the area? We would be grateful if you could check this. We do have some commercial properties advertised that will be available and we have waiting lists for these . We will contact prospective viewers once we can show them. We are sorry you feel the need to provide a 1 star review .We have searched our communication in relation to the management of your development and can see only one piece of communication , regarding a meeting held by the freehold company. Decisions voted upon here are not within the control of Jennings and Barrett. It is disappointing that leaseholders do not understand the responsibilities of the managing agent and choose not to raise any concerns directly with us, instead posting reviews which are not representative of the service we provide . Please contact the office and we will do our best to resolve the matter.

Alicia has been with us just one week. It’s never easy starting a new job. However, it is a shame that you and your friend decided to post 1 star reviews when our lettings team went out of the way to assist you with viewings . We are not able to let properties to potential tenants if they cannot pass the appropriate referencing process. We will advise all potential tenants of this. GoogleNever felt so desperate and neglected when dealing with an agency. Avoid. Edit in response to reply: This is the first I'm hearing that we did not meet tenancy requirements as we were never informed of any requirements or told why our application was rejected despite repeated phone calls and emails asking for updates (which were ignored). We were also told our application was sent right away with no issue, but you're now suggesting you either did not send it or advised the landlord not to agree to it? This review is the most contact we've had from you throughout the whole process. Disgusting behaviour.

Dear Annalise, We did everything we could to help you with regards taking a tenancy including facilitating a viewing after we had closed viewings. It is difficult for letting agents . There are just not enough properties available. However, if a potential tenant cannot qualify by passing the required referencing process, we have a duty to the landlord to not progress that tenancy. We are disappointed that you make this our fault when we went out of our way to help you .We wish you luck in finding a home. Jennings and Barrett Response to your further comments We provide standard information that explains the process. Referencing is carried out by an independent body. We advised that you did not pass, but that you must contact the referencing agency for any further information .
