I have rated Jackson Green and Preston five stars because not only was their valuation spot on but they sold my property very quickly and they kept me informed throughout the process. Kevin Broadhurst and James Stanhope took a watching brief right the way through and the staff Natasha and the others were always polite and helpful. I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent. I think they have made a good impression on the people living in my village too because I was asked why I chose a Grimsby agent when most of the villagers used agents more local However. I think they can now see why, as there are quite a few unsold properties that have been on the market much longer than mine. So, thank you all at Jackson Green and Preston.

I have found the staff to be very approachable and supportive during my time as a tenant a d they remained so after I recently gave my notice. They communicated with me clearly and were prompt in getting back to me. I also found them to be fair and felt they supported me just as much as the landlord. I would rent through them again.

Having sold six properties over the years. Never again will I deal with this agency. Rude unprofessional isn't the word. Would never have happened when the old Jackson Green and Preston were in charge.As prospective buyers they lost our purchase and any future business.

Not a very good experience when purchasing a house.They lied about a poorly fitted gas fire to my Surveyor to whom am also having bad issues with about escaping Carbon Monoxide which shows on the brochure when zoomed in scorch marks.Requested to them to get the seller to remove rubbish from the back which they never passed on the message. Told me i only had twenty minutes to view inside.I give them no browny points and will be contacting Grimsby Telegraph regarding the dangers which they photographed the fireplace and then lied about it Answer to your reply Firstly i would like to point out that the gas fire had black scorch marks around the walls which was visible on your brochure with a closer inspection,this shows without any testing that it posed a risk to health as it was Carbon Monoxide fumes escaping and you would of noticed this first when taking the photos as my gas safety officer had agreed i should of still been made aware of it Secondly i did report dumped rubbish behind fencing to be removed to both you & my conveyances and i found this was not carried and i did contact you both regarding this after vacating the property as it had cost me in builders skips.You rung me to say the seller had cleared it at my request but that was either a lie on you or the seller

Hello Mr Jarvis, Can I firstly say how sorry I am that you are not happy with the service you received from us. We do have a clause on our brochures which states:- “we have not tested any apparatus, equipment, fixtures, fittings or services and cannot verify that they are in working order” I have spoken with the Negotiator who dealt with your purchase and she assures me your Surveyor did not contact us regarding the fire. Unfortunately, even if he had, we would have been unable to pass comment due to the appliance not being tested. You viewed the property on three separate occasions and we would have been only too happy to accommodate a longer viewing if you had requested it. As we did not hear from you after the completion date in November 2012 we assumed the rubbish had been dealt with. Once again I am sorry that you felt our service fell short of your expectations. I inform them about problem with window handle in my bedroom . There was no response for full week. They also lost my £450 that I paid for rent and blamed me for it! then they called me into office and demant explanation.

I dont live in Grimsby but my daughter does and rents throught them. She has 3 young children and the youngest is 2. She has been left unable to cook as cooker was condemned 2 weeks ago and they are making excuses and have not replaced it. The boiler is unfit and broken down again and they have left her and the 3 small ones for 3 days so far in these freezing conditions and they are so cold and are unable to have a hot meal. She has never missed paying her rent once. This company are disgusting and uncaring!

I would score a zero if I could. Left a rented property in a awful, DISGUSTING state (photos to prove). Absolutely horrendous service, none of them care about us as tenants and the company is paid to manage a property by the landlord. We only got a 4 hour clean after our move in date due to complaining, which is still not fully clean. There are many things wrong and neglected with the property, 10 year old carpets with no underlay, faulty electrics in the kitchen and still unable to use the oven. Had no response to all the grievances we’ve had. We paid £1500 and waited 3 weeks for a disgraceful condition. AWFUL company, staff have noted in an inventory how dusty, dirty and faulty things are in property and done next to nothing to rectify these with keeping some of the previous tenants deposit!!!!!

I recently sold my house through Jackson, Green and Preston and found the entire process faultless. The brochure was of a high standard and I was kept informed on all aspects of the sale, including feedback on viewings. Staff at JGP are helpful, extremely professional and very approachable. I also rent out some properties through this company, via its Property Management department, and have found this service invaluable. They track all legal requirements for the properties, such as Gas checks, CO2/Smoke alarms, etc. and liaise between the tenants and myself on aspects of maintenance. I feel my properties are well managed and and excellent service is provided for both landlords and tenants. All in all, I found that Jackson, Green and Preston provide an excellent, modern and professional service and would highly recommend them to anyone. G. Newman.

I cant wait to leave from the house. Everything is falling apart. The wallpaper is painted again and again and started to fall of ....The boiler got broken 5 times in 7 months. We had rats and now we have ants. The wall from 1 room is wet and full of moul. The answer from the agency was that the landlord doesnt want to invest more money. The ceilling from the livingroom has holes and soon will fell down... its an adventure to live in the house.

All members of their staff proved to be most helpful at different times and their knowledge was limitless. This wasn't down to luck but rather the good advice and professionalism shown by all the staff we dealt with. Selling a house can be very stressful. Having just sold our bungalow, we would highly recommend Jackson, Green & Preston. They gave us good advice during the valuation and were quick to get the property on the market. The photos were excellent, they handled all the viewings and were quick to give feedback.
