GoogleJackson Green & Preston appear to not value their tenants, and this shows in the slow and vague way they communicate. In my case, they seemed efficient at first in terms of getting me a tenancy in place, however the communication and follow ups from JGP now that regular issues have started creeping in with appliance failures, plumbing and electrics problems in my property has been below average. JGP are slow / non-responsive with updates and answers, you’re always chasing them for responses and poorly written, almost borderline rude soulless emails seem to be how they communicate. Certainly not the “premier” estate agent they claim to be.

GoogleCancelled two appointments which I had moved around work for, told me they would be in touch to arrange something further they did not. I rang them arranged a viewing which has just been cancelled again because someone has now applied for the property. Absolutely appalling.👍

GoogleAt the beginning, when I was searching for a property to rent, the agency seemed really friendly and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the problems started once I moved in. On three separate occasions during the tenancy I reported issues (including serious ones like no heating in winter and a major water leak), only to later find out they hadn’t even recorded the problems. Every time I needed something fixed, I had to call 3, 4 times just to get action. Things ended even worse at move-out. The agency tried to keep almost the entire deposit on claims that were clearly inflated. Only by going through the TDS dispute process did we manage to recover most of what was rightfully ours, far more than their so-called “fair offer.” Future tenants: don’t be afraid to challenge unfair deductions through TDS. It works, and you don’t have to accept whatever figure the agency throws at you.
