My wife and I exchanged contracts on our house sale and house purchase yesterday, both of which were very competently handled by Howkins & Harrison, Rugby. We have been at our present address for 27 years and felt that the process of buying and selling had become a lot more complicated since the last time we moved. I would imagine that like most people we found it all rather daunting but together with the expert help from Julie and Chris at H & H we have come through relatively unscathed. Julie was always there to set our minds at ease when the stress levels got a bit much and always assured us that things would turn out fine in the end which we are glad to say they did. Would just like to share my initial purchase experience with Howkins and Harrison, the house guide who met us at the property was fantastic. She had obviously taken time to research the house and she was a credit to the sellers, a real positive. We were vey motivated to buy and it was very clear that "offers over" was needed, but unfortunately not accepted as a the sellers were offered the same amount by a cash buyer. We were disappointed but Julian was very sympathetic to our position and when the cash buyer revealed that he needed to sell a property to proceed Julian very promptly re-engaged with us and our offer was accepted. I dealt with the Daventry Office of H&H for my house sale and for my purchase. The marketing of my house was professional, it sold in just over 2 weeks and I feel H&H fees are fair.
