GoogleMy partner and I started looking to relocate to Surbiton last November. Luckily we stumbled across Hawes and Co (particularly Joe Stevens) who could not have been more helpful and amazing to work with. When the flat we put our original rental offer down on was taken off the market a few weeks before we had to move because the landlord found a buyer Joe and his colleagues could not have been more amazing in the way they found us a nicer flat in our price range which was also closer to the station (something high on our list of priorities) in virtually no time! I can't say I have ever had so positive an experience with renting as I have had with Hawes and Co. The people who work there are just friendly and 'normal'. No feeling of you just being another potential 'sale' or adding to their KPIs. No annoying salesman attitude. I'd recommend them and will be using them again if and when I next look to move. Thank you all so much again!!

GoogleAs a solicitor, it is always helpful to work with pro-active and efficient estate agents. Michael Gibson from Hawes and Co certainly matches this description. We have now dealt with a number of transactions together and he has always assisted with the process to ensure a smooth conveyance and swift exchange of contracts. Although I haven't dealt with him from a sales perspective, I am sure this skill set is easily transferable to selling houses!

GoogleWe really can't say enough good things about Greg McHugh et al at Hawes Surbiton. They were always there for us throughout our multi-year search and eventual sale & purchase. What we felt set them apart from the other estate agents we met: 1) they know the area very well (people and properties) 2) they made an effort to get to know us and what we were looking for, and why 3) they knew their sellers and the market well 4) they genuinely wanted to help us to find the house that was right for us 5) they seemed to be agents for nearly all of the properties that we were interested in 6) they patiently proposed viewings as soon as relevant properties came onto market, over several years 7) they were always extremely polite and straightforward Once into the sale and purchase process, Greg put us in touch with a super-efficient local solicitor as well as kept us up-to-date on progress across the chain. After the sale and purchase were complete, Greg stayed in touch to make sure all was well and ask if there was anything further they could do for us. We went into the process fearing/expecting the worst but were very pleasantly surprised by the overall experience with Hawes Surbiton. We would definitely recommend Greg at Hawes based on our interaction, five stars.

I also highly recommend the in house Broker - Simon. Genuinely personable and 'normal' people- after years of property searching in the area to let and buy, they are by far the nicest agents on the high street! Thank you all!

GoogleI don't move home that often, and technology has advanced since my first move. However... I don't ever forget the importance of the human touch, of personal contact. When I wanted to sell my Surbiton home in 2016, I selected Hawes as my agent of choice, especially after Greg had come to see the house. However, being cautious, I gave up the benefits of a single agent fee and also used another local agent. The house wasn't cheap - but we sold to one of Greg's buyers within the first week - to someone who wouldn't normally have contemplated the type of house; he encouraged her to view it, and the deal was done. It was the sheer customer knowledge and personality of Greg that made the sale, for very close to asking price. We sold the house before we had a single person through the door from the other agent. Greg followed the sale throughout its course, and helped when we needed to chivvy the agents for the new house. I can't be fulsome enough in my praise.

GoogleWe bought a house in April 2016 marketed by Hawes & Co on Surbiton High Street. It was a great experience. Greg McHugh and his team were excellent. We obviously didn't choose them - the sellers did - but we're glad they did. Everyone we dealt with in the office was professional, knowledgeable and courteous and they clearly worked hard to manage expectations on both sides and get the result everyone was looking for. Greg's approach was noticeably different to other agents who had contributed to our decision to walk away from several other properties. No pressure tactics, no mind games, he just got on with the business of facilitating the negotiations, keeping everyone informed and keeping everything on track. We have no hesitation in recommending Greg and his team and will be using them when it's time to make the next move.

GoogleMichael Gibson was FANTASTIC!! I experienced a pretty complicated purchase, not because of Michael or Hawes & Co, but because I had a difficult seller. Michael went above and beyond his role in helping me resolve issues I had - in fact without him I think I'd still be trying to sort them out now. Not only is he helpful but extremely friendly and happy to help out in any way he can. I have to say my experience with both Michael and Hawes & Co has been great from start to finish and I will certainly be recommending them to friends and family as well as using Michael to sell my property in the future.....if I ever decide to move again!?! A BIG thank you Michael.

GoogleChristine james is 5 star in my eyes! Need a real estate agent that makes the process easy, enjoyable and hassle free then christine is that agent. Fantastic service, thats carried on even when you go into the agencie and meet everyone very friendly and ready to help! Renting right now but when i'm ready to buy theres no doubt in my mind hawes and co is the first place im going. Best looking properties on the market aswell!
