GoogleAfter a fall through buying a different property with another agent we contacted Hawes & Co Surbiton to see if they had any similar properties as our mortgage product was about to end. We spoke with a lovely lady by the name of Liana, who told us her Manager Richard had just been out to value a property that fitted our description. Hawes and Co arranged a one-off viewing for us before it went live online, we loved it, offered , and had it accepted without it going to market. Fast forward 8 weeks we exchanged and completed. Tremendous amount of gratitude to the Surbiton team for finding us a home.

GoogleHighly disappointing service from H&Co. Selling a property which H&C initially undervalued (by over 20% compared to the average given by other estate agents!) which should have been the sign to go elsewhere... Resolved this, and had the property on the market with H&C for almost 6 weeks and they failed to secure a single viewing in that time. In fact, I managed to arrange one myself through a work colleague before they had arranged any (which they failed to ever do). After a severe lack of communication from the branch, I followed up only to find that the allocated sales rep had left the business ~2 weeks prior and H&C had not informed me, nor allocated the sale to another agent! Cancelled the arrangement with absolutely no fight from H&C to improve the service - just gave the impression of giving up at the first opportunity - perhaps out of embarrassment. Positives: Commission for sales is at the lower end, but from my experience with H&C, you get what you pay for...

GoogleWe are just completing on our house sale with Hawes & Co. Having not sold for many years my past experiences have not been great. But Paul Mannell has been exceptional. He has taken us under his professional wing and helped us immeasurably through this process (which has been rather drawn out). His recommendations have also been first rate. I cannot fault the professionalism and personal attention of this company and would highly recommend them.

GoogleWhen you deal with Hawes you wonder how estate agents ever get a bad name. We used them in 2023 for the sale of our property and we purchased another at the same time for which they were the agent. At all times they were highly professional and helpful. They communicated regularly and were always responsive. The advice they gave about the marketing, pricing and negotiation of the sale of our property was invaluable. Highly recommended.

GoogleIf you are trying to rent a property avoid this office and especially the letting negotiator Katie . She is too unprofessional, unhelpful, and she keeps lying to you .she never responds to your emails and phone calls. I was trying to arrange a viewing or a video because I wasnt living in London and it was an nightmare with her. Firstly she cancelled my first viewing at the last minute and I was going to London from far ,lost tickets and money then I was trying to rearrange a viewing or to get video and she was unresponsive on my phone calls,emails as the only thing she knows to do better.i managed to get through with her at the end and she said she would call me on Monday 18th of March this week at 2 o'clock for a video call or to send me a video .I'm still waiting .The management should check her unprofessional behavior .
