Avoid. Our tenancy through Harrison Hardie was defined by poor communication, broken promises, and constant chasing from start to finish. We spent months reporting mould affecting multiple rooms and windows throughout the property. Numerous emails, phone calls and face-to-face conversations later, very little changed. We were repeatedly told that works would be carried out, including window replacements, yet the issues remained unresolved throughout our tenancy. The most frustrating part was that nothing seemed to happen unless we chased repeatedly. Routine issues became ongoing battles for updates, responses and action. We often felt completely ignored until we followed up again and again. This pattern continued when we served notice. Despite having an agreed end date confirmed in writing, delayed responses created unnecessary confusion while we were trying to secure a new home. At a time when clear communication was essential, it was nowhere to be found. The handling of our deposit was the final straw. We vacated the property on 30 April and requested repayment through DPS on 12 May. Despite no valid deductions being identified, it took over five weeks, countless emails, phone calls and excuses before our money was finally returned. During this period we were repeatedly told that the landlord had not responded, while we were left waiting for funds that should have been released promptly. What stands out most is the complete lack of urgency and accountability. Problems were acknowledged. Promises were made. Follow-up rarely happened. As tenants, we were expected to be patient while basic responsibilities were repeatedly delayed. The only positive aspect of our experience was Ildiko, who appeared to be doing her best to obtain responses and move matters forward. Unfortunately, one helpful member of staff was not enough to compensate for the wider failings we experienced throughout our tenancy. We would not rent through Harrison Hardie again and would strongly encourage prospective tenants to consider carefully before doing so.

Having met several potential estate agents for the sale of our home, Harrison Hardie, and in particular Hannah, were the ones we felt understood that the sale was about us and what we needed. They are professional, objective and great communicators. We worked mostly with Gracy who worked tirelessly to make sure out viewings went well and negotiated offers - we felt that she took personal responsibility for making sure our sale and move happened, especially when unfortunately our first buyer fell through. An excellent experience with Harrison Hardie. They have a great app so you can track viewings and the staff are easy to deal with, personable, professional and very efficient. They were a significant factor in achieving exchange of contracts - far more proactive and responsive than the solicitors! The only thing to mention is check their Ts and Cs carefully. It was a little cheeky to try to charge a significant % fee if the seller withdraws from the transaction once a sale has been agreed in principle with a buyer. They were, however, happy to take out this clause at my request.

Don't use this company unless you're a landlord!!!! We never got any of our issues addressed and only got half our deposit back due to issues that were already there before we moved in. There's no pressure on the landlord to fix anything and a very slow communication channel with the company. Will not be using again. Bring back Harry! He was amazing with the move in process, but it was downhill from there.

I had an excellent experience with Harrison Hardie, especially thanks to Guy and Ella, who were fantastic throughout the entire process. They were incredibly efficient and helped me move in at lightning speed, while still ensuring everything was handled properly and above board. Both were friendly, professional, down-to-earth, and genuinely supportive. What really stood out was the level of care. Even after I’d moved in, they continued to help with any questions or issues and always responded promptly.
