I'd like to say a big thank you to all the staff from Halls Estate Agents, Franche Road, Kidderminster. Over recent weeks I've made numerous enquiries regarding a property lm purchasing through them. Praise to all the staff who lve had contact with. My inability to manage technology has been supported with empathy and understanding. No question was ever too silly to ask. Staff have been prompt in responding to my questions or emails. Navigating either selling or buying a property these days can be a daunting and complex experience. Halls Estate agents have been amazing, always friendly and helpful. This has made the "ordeal" an easy and seamless process. So well done to all the staff, especially Savannah who has gone above and beyond in her working role to ensure lve had the best customer experience.

We initially saw a property for sale with Halls and decided to take the plunge, selling our house to buy it. This was a massive gamble for us as we had put so much effort into our existing home, and the property we liked was old, with complex structural and title deed issues. Because of these challenges, we decided to appoint Halls to handle the sale of our own property too.It was far from a simple process, but Savannah, Coleen, and the team at Kidderminster were absolutely faultless. They provided the exact reassurance and support we needed to navigate both the sale and the purchase. I can only rate Halls Kidderminster 5 stars! We have had a long journey selling our house and they were the ones that did it for us. From Tom coming in midway through the process to revalue, following an unsuccessful time with another agents. Just sitting and having a chat about expectations and understanding the situation we were in … to Lilly who kept us updated throughout the sale process and kept things moving. She was always happy to answer any questions! We particularly want to thank Savannah, who was just brilliant! From getting the property relisted asap just after Christmas to making sure we had regular appropriate updates. She always answered questions (which were a lot!) and gave reassurance when we needed it most. Thank you to the whole team! Not sure I would recommend this estate agent. We contacted them to tell them of a serious flood/drainage issue with one of the houses they are currently selling. But, no reply or even an acknowledgement.. There’s no point in burying your head in the sand and not addressing serious concerns, as they have a habit of causing more problems at a later stage in the sales process. I note there was a similar poor review previously.

This is a fairly broad review, covering a house sale and a separate house purchase some time later. I sold my house through halls quite a while back now. The whole team from start to finish were excellent. They kept solicitors (and buyers!) in check, whilst keeping us from falling apart when things inevitably get a little stressful. Jack was our main guy for the sale. He was our rock. Absolute legend. Just less than a year later we found ourselves buying our next place through halls as well. Once again they were simply fantastic. Really friendly to deal with, whilst also being the main drivers on all sides to keep things moving. Lily was our main point of contact. She was always available, and always incredibly helpful. It felt like working with friends. Couldn't ask for more. I really don't want to move house ever again, but if I did, I'd use Halls without a doubt. Thanks again everyone! Thom & Amy

I couldn’t think of a worse estate agent to deal with. We had an offer accepted on a property on 9th May. One months later, we found out our solicitor couldn’t proceed with any searches because a big portion of the garden wasn’t owned by the seller, who had applied to the Land Registry to register the land. Halls were surprised and annoyed to find out about this, saying they were disappointed the sellers hasn’t mentioned this to them. One month later, still nothing had happened as we were all still sat waiting for a decision from the Land Registry. It was only at this point that we spoke directly to the seller, who explained that Halls had, in fact, known about this issue before the house was even listed - in fact, they’d valued that portion of land at the same time they valued the house itself. So they absolutely knew about this major issue and intentionally a) concealed it from us, and b) subsequently lied about it. They even put a red line photo on the listing that included the land that wasn’t legally included in the sale - which, FYI, is illegal. We’ve ended up negotiating the price down because this process has dragged out for months while we were kept in the dark by the estate agent and the seller’s solicitors. We’ve also ended up having to switch to doing the sales progression via solicitors because their sales progresser, Lilly, was so incompetent. She acted like we were being impatient or unreasonable for getting frustrated about a house (with no chain) taking months because of an issue we were never told about. When we threatened to pull our offer almost two months in, she literally ignored our calls and messages for weeks. Then when we tried to book viewings for other properties when we’d reached our limit, they refused to book any because they wanted to trap us into this purchase. I really hope, when this sale completes, the sellers don’t pay them any commission because Halls absolutely must have breached their contract with their client. We’ll certainly be reporting them to the Ombudsman when this is all over with the evidence we have of them intentionally misrepresenting a property and lying about it.
