Their valuation was sensible and reasoned and they instructed Home Reports and Schedule photos/videos promptly. Their business-like approach was exactly what I needed and they were all very personable, friendly and responsive and were happy to explain and resolve any issues as they arose. I felt in charge, informed and connected at all times. I felt they were on my side throughout. The Stars of my sale (so far) were Callum, Karen, Abbie and Karin; each had a lovely manner about them and an ability to professionally manage my expectations, natural stress levels and what seemed like endless questions. Recently had the misfortune of being referred to Gilson Gray for a recent sale and purchase. The entire experience from start to finish was made unnecessarily stressful by their slow and inconsistent communication, having no sense of urgency and dropping the ball on several occasions leading to numerous issues and inconveniences. If you enjoy relentlessly chasing people to get basic stuff done then maybe you would enjoy the experience. Icing on the cake is ignoring their own policies by not acknowledging my complaint about the terrible service and taking 22 working days to respond to it, only to infer that it was my fault to have the expectation that they could be accurate and efficient. Enough said.

Not a good experience at all with Gilson Gray. We asked for a quote, and the price looked good so emailed back to accept thinking that was that. We heard no further communication from them at all which lead to a very stressful time as first time buyers. We found a property that we wanted to put an offer on the closing date so phoned the office to get it done quick. All advisors were busy, and we were told we would receive a phone back. We waited a while and didn't hear anything, so phoned up again and was told the same thing. Absolutely no sense of urgency or appreciation for the time sensitive offer that needed to be put in place. In the end we needed to very quickly find another Solicitor to sign up with, and have no regrets NOT using Gilson Gray. We still have never heard anything from them...
