GoogleWe recently rented a place through Gibbs Gillespie and we must compliment Charlie Payne who was our point of contact throughout the pre-tenancy process and she truly made sure it all went through well. Although the overall process (especially the referencing checks) was quite slow and inconvenient (we suggest Gibbs Gillespie look into this and think of ways to improve this process to be faster and friendlier), Charlie always ensured quicker responses throughout our process and went the extra mile to make the whole process smoother with her prompt responses and action. GoogleI recently purchased a flat through Gibbs, and while the initial buying process went smoothly, the experience since moving in has been very disappointing. I’ve now been living here for two months, and several issues have arisen. We've experienced sudden power outages caused by the contractor, there’s still no direct communication with the developer, and basic amenities like letterboxes are still missing, even though the contractor is on-site daily, including weekends. Additionally, during construction, I purchased a shower head and gave it to Gibbs to pass along to the contractor, but it’s since gone missing. I’ve been told it’s with the developer, yet there’s no clarity on when I’ll be able to contact them directly as a landlord. Unfortunately, Gibbs appears focused solely on sales, with little regard for addressing post-purchase issues or effectively communicating residents' concerns to the developer. Overall, it has been a poor experience dealing with Gibbs, and the mystery developer only adds to the frustration.
