My experience at Get Living (East Village) has been magnificent! It's so safe + new + clean. Plus, the Get Living staff are so kind + fun to be around (they make my parents and I feel at home) and very helpful (fast replies + always ready to help). I rarely write reviews of the companies, but the issues and pure customer and maintenance service that we had over two years of tenancy with Get Living forced me to write this. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to deal with them as their service is awful and they are not a customer oriented company at all. If you are considering renting from them I would advise to check the reviews at the East Village London tenants groups. There are lots of complaints and issues with them and their management. And not being able to reach to them when it’s needed. And I’m not even mentioning high energy bills from their energy company that can’t provide even meter readings.. But the last drop for me was when they refused to adjust our move out date which was informed to them a month and a half before moving out - we were leaving the country and booked flight tickets for a date that is 7 days earlier than original move out date and asked Get Living to move that date for 7 days earlier. So we cleaned the apartment and left the keys with them and then were asked to pay for a week that we weren’t living at the apartment. They acknowledged getting the keys and sent us a check out report so why should we pay for a term that we wasn’t there? They might have had even a new tenant and trying to charge two rents for the same place.. 🤔 As the apartment was professionally cleaned and we left it in much cleaner condition then it was when we moved in, so it is very possible that they already got a new tenant but yet still asking us to pay. Also, we were okay with them showing our apartment during our last two months of tenancy. And I made sure that the apartment was nice and clean (like showroom) when the viewing time was scheduled.

Only moved out due to distance....Rebecca Ribeiro-Piper is really helpful, professional, and on top of things, and gets things done..They are lucky to have her....Claire in lettings is very professional , and Colleen and Jackie who are heads of departments are very quick to respond...So big thank you..........Get living East Village, Fantastic helpful, and beautifully run. A big shout out to Claire Oki, who is a credit to Get Living East village. She is knowledgeable , always gets back to you, a real star in this company. We are still waiting for our tenancy contract however so far the process has been seamless and with high standards. So I recommend these professionals. You can see they really want to build a community. Harry helped us booked the flats we wanted to view and had been very reactive. Orphee, who was on her first day got the extra mile to make us visit THE flat we actually wanted to live in. The front desk team have been lovely, offering coffee and answering all our questions while we were waiting to reserve the flat.
