Get Living London manage East Village properties and the surrounding area superbly. A vibrant, modern, appealing place to live for young professionals. High recommend!

Really stunning flats and overall pleased with property management. Unaffordable however; one of the earlier tenants to move in and have now been priced out after one year

The admin from GLL is terrible. Not only did they not have a key ready for when I moved in, it took them 2 weeks longer than they said it would to get a new one. Additionally they also can't sort rent payments, this month I have been charged the full flats rent (including my flatmates share) whilst my flatmates have also been charged with the full amount, effectively we've all paid double rent.

Unbelievably badly managed service. Laura Wicks ignored our emails for months claiming she was working to resolve a deposit issue and housemate leaving our tenancy. Completely mis-advised us - told us she was speaking with solicitors on the issue when in actual fact the solution was simple. Probably the worst admin I've ever experienced.

worst ever. unbelievable disorganised and no communication at all. They will be very happy to take your money at first instance. However, if there is any issue they will continually ignore you until you ultimately give up. I had heating issue which was not fixed for over three weeks in the middle of winter and they continuously make false promise that the engineer will be out or the issue is now fixed and try again, when the issue is actually not resolved. some of the furniture is damaged toilets don't work. The flats are fine from outside but there is huge problems with many things inside the house and lack of communication and lack feedback from the Landlord.

Hi Ahmed, we understand that you are not a Get Living London resident, but are sorry to hear of negative experiences you've had elsewhere in East Village. In this case we would recommend contacting your landlord directly. Get Living London

Hands down the WORST LETTINGS AGENCY IN LONDON. DO NOT USE. Want the flexibility of renting without the responsibility that comes with owning a property? Be able to give your month's notice to move out and then not be responsible for paying rent after that? Not have to worry about finding a tenant to replace you? If so, DO NOT RENT WITH GET LIVING. 1. If you decide you want to move out, it's not as simple as just giving your notice like you may have done with other properties. You will be expected to find a replacement tenant, as Get Living (a lettings agency) apparently aren't responsible for this/can't be bothered 2. If you do not find a replacement tenant, Get Living will continue to demand money from you and threaten you with legal action, even when you moved out of the property months ago. 3. If you are successful finding a new tenant, Get Living will ignore you every time you phone or email them and continue to demand rent from you anyway. It will take approximately 30 emails, 26 phone calls and 5 office visits chasing Get Living before they eventually get around to sending the new tenant the proper forms. Even if you move at lighting speed, Get Living move at a glacial pace - you will need to give them at least two months to send the new tenant some forms.

While the staff are friendly and helpful when you talk to them they are badly organised. In a recent transfer of housemates they have gotten the direct debit amounts wrong for the current tenants and also charged the former housemates. While the flat is modern, clean and well situated I would caution people to confirm everything in writing and expect a couple months of chaos when moving in or changing housemates

Hi crwakeford, we're really sorry to hear that your experience of us wasn't a totally positive one. Your feedback on the transfer issues have very much been taken on board and we'll do everything we can to ensure it doesn't happen again. Customer service is something we pride ourselves on, so your feedback on areas we can improve is gratefully received. Many thanks Get Living London

I can't agree more with other comments which say Get Living London is extremely unorganised. I had reported the toilet leakage at my en-suite since September 2016. While the office staff are polite at all times, they didn't take any effective measures and the leakage continued. I decided to arrange a move-out. As I finally transferred my contract to someone else, I tried to urge the office to fix the leakage again and again by multiple in-person visits to the office and continuous phone calls. 22 May 2017, the leakage issue was resolved. That's nine months to fix a single leakage. Residents suffer from their mismanagement. The fireworks and other fancy stuff the place arranges are nice, but they don't know how to solve some essential problems. Update after hours of the original post: It's interesting that the owner got back to this post within hours after I submitted my review. The speediness like such never happened to my other email requests to the management office. This leakage issue is not the only reason that made me draw this conclusion but I will not consider renting with Get Living London again, especially as the rents in London are trending down in general. Thank you.

Hi Linly. Thank you for letting us know of the issues you had. We put excellent customer service as front and centre of what we do, and are disappointed to hear that we fell short of that in the experience you had. Your feedback has been taken on board, and we will do everything we can to make sure it never happens again. We hope that your experience of renting with us wasn't entirely negative, and that you would consider renting with us again one day in the future. Many thanks Get Living London

Rent is expensive but you get what you pay for. Paid 1733 for a 2 bed flat (+200 for tax and utilities). One of the best things is that you have the access to high speed internet right after you move in, which is extremely important to me as I moved from abroad. (Wifi is already in place and the speed is top level of the country) Very nice staff, they even offered me an induction cooking set as a welcome gift. Highly recommend for family.

An absolutely Amazing and revolutionary company! All my dealings with the staff at GLL have been positive. Living in East Village is a professionals dream and with the emergence of more restaurants and future development this is definitely the most desirable postcode in East London!!
