GoogleDuring my search for a new home, I dealt with many different estate agents, and Geoffrey Matthews was by far the best. They were consistently professional, polite, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them and and they truly deserve a 5-star rating.

GoogleFantastic service and support from the first meeting. Geoff Owen is such a contrast to most estate agents, he’s not only knowledgeable about his area of business but he’s mercifully free of ‘flannel’ and marketing speak. He laid out the best approach for selling my mother’s house, calmly backed up with his detailed knowledge of Harlow’s housing market. The cost of the service was more than reasonable. Photographs of the house were excellent and we received a lot of help from Geoff himself getting the house looking its best for the brochure. The delivery of the sale by the rest of the team at Geoffrey Matthew was equally kind, informative and timely. The house sold for its asking price within five days of being on the market. In the intervening time between initial offer and completion we were kept fully informed by Suzanne, Mark and Bradley all of whom were both consummately professional and kind. An outstanding job.

GoogleI cannot thank Geoffrey Matthew enough for making our recent house sale a stress free experience. Geoff, who came to do our initial valuation, was very friendly, knowledgeable and positive. We had lots of information on viewings and feedback from Bradley and, once the sale was underway, we had a weekly update from Suzanne which was very reassuring. I would highly recommend Geoffrey Matthew to anyone wanting to sell their property.

GoogleAbsolutely shocking experience renting through these and am still awaiting a reply despite numerous phone calls and emails sent. Correspondence has been ignored and money owed to me not returned. I will persevere until someone actually returns my calls!

GoogleJust purchased a property with Bradley, and all I can say is the customer service i received was 2nd to none! We had a few issues with the chain on my side. However, they remained patient and really put my mind at ease. What i also loved about this estate agent was the honesty, which you rarely get anymore, so thank you! Would defo recommend this estate agent and Bradley!

GoogleUnfortunately for me and my two children I would not recommend renting a property though them as they do not uphold their responsibilities. I have been ignored by Bridget for weeks in regards to black mold, electrical wires hanging out, plug sockets hanging off walls, wasn’t cleaned or painted before I entered the property although I was assured it was, no light in bathroom, broken windows (fire hazard) and also no enamel on the bath. Absolutely nightmare and they just ignore you every time you try and resolve the issues. It’s very very unprofessional Thank you for your response Geoff but still nothing from Bridget again. Been here 3 months now. Two minors living with poo regurgating up a toilet, broken electrical wires and no bath facilities and sever black mold is unacceptable im seeking legal advice. Do not use this company

GoogleReply for geoff ! Writing lies on your replies makes you and your company look even worse and even more reason why you need proper regulations against you .. Barham road owner knew from day 1 he’s new build plot was not going to be released and so did Geoffrey Mathews he came back to us and said he would move in with family ! 4 months down the line and day before exchange you pull out and pretend you all didn’t know ! Your pure liars ! You cost me and my family and 5 other families in the chain lots of money .. and to make you look even worse and show what sort of business you really are you put the house straight back up as chain free fully knowing he had no idea when his new build property would be released, which proves A your liars and B you don’t care if the next person that tried to buy it could cost them lots of money and stress when they realised he was in no position to move out ! DONT TRY TO SELL HOUSE AS CHAIN FREE WHEN THERE NOT ! Companies like you are why estate agents have such a bad name !

Hi Mark. My reply as before. We understand house buying can be frustrating. In this instance we had a client that had been promised a new build plot by a house builder and advised him to put his property on the market. Assuming the builder had lived up to their end of the bargain our client was prepared to move out. However they didn't release the plot as promised which put everybody in a difficult position. Geoff.
