I have worked with Franklyn & James on the Letting and Sale processes for my property and highly recommend them! They have supported me (and the tenants in my flat) for well over 2 years, having Gary as one of the most professional managing agents I have dealt with in London. On the sale side, Adil and Umar have gone above and beyond, turning a very stressful experience with another agency into what is yet another reason to praise F&J, since my property is now Under Offer despite a complex market environment! In my experience, the professionalism and responsiveness of the Franklyn & James team vastly surpass other agencies' service.

Lucy Carlton, with Franklyn James, has been an excellent property manager for us. When we moved in, there were several issues that we needed addressed. Lucy was prompt, kind, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. Couldn't ask for a better property manager!

Franklyn James is very professional and helpful with finding me a place to stay. I first contacted James and he made the whole process easy and smooth for me. Tanzila is also very helpful and the communication is clear. I am very happy with the apartment I ended up in! Would highly recommend.

The estate agent, Vanessa, knew very little about the flat and caused us to incur additional expense by undertaking a survey of a part of the wider block which wasn't part of the property. After we had paid a holding fee Vanessa's manner changed completely and she became very rude and aggressive. I have not given Franklyn James one star as ultimately the transaction proceeded according to agreed timelines. I hope that their other agents are better but based on my experience with Vanessa if I were selling a property I would avoid Franklyn James.

My impression is that they will work against tenants as much as they possibly can. Examples: They asked me for full unredacted bank transaction copies for the purpose of "Anti-Money-Laundering". I refused and they got pushy, but never in writing. Obviously, was a concealed credit check. They also hid a malfunctioning bathroom venting system of the flat during the viewing. After moving out, they gave me a bad reference stating I owe them money even though the tenancy deposit scheme report ended with 0 owed money.

James arranged a viewing the day after I sent an enquiry about the flat so the process was fast. After the viewing, I got informed about the next steps of the process and my offer was quickly put in progress by James. Overall quite happy with how things went.

I’ve been very disappointed with the experience of working with Franklyn James so far. I had to chase them for 4 days after my holding deposit to get an answer. We took the property virtually and have had absolutely no proactive response from Gary Atinks (examples being “the code to the buildings gardens must be one of the few I’ve provided you”, needing to be chased for something as simple as a bin store code). I would never recommend.

I am so satisfied with Franklin Janes from the start up to the time I got the keys , their service is 1st class . Adil ( Director) was so kind and very approachable I really appreciate his assistance, professionalism and dedication to his work. I am so pleased and a happy customer!

Lucy Carlton and James Cooper from the Limehouse branch helped enormously when looking for a new place in December 2023. It was a difficult time of year for finding something, but they were both excellent at responding and answering my queries promptly. From the viewing with James to signing the contract with Lucy was a matter of a few days. Would highly recommend both colleagues and the branch - Everyone I spoke with or interacted with was pleasant and professional.

Franklyn James have been truly excellent throughout our tenancy. Everyone has always been very lovely and helpful towards us. Gary, Lucy and Mark have all been great, and Tyler is definitely an asset to the team. We very much appreciate all of his hard work and communication since joining the company and managing our property for us. He's been quick to deal with any issues and is always efficient with communicating and getting things sorted. Thank you!
