He was also fantastic when dealing with the solicitors and really helped keep everything moving forward. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his support made the whole experience so much easier. ⭐☆☆☆☆ AVOID THIS ESTATE AGENT, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE Our experience with Farrar Estate Agents in Chelsea was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly caution anyone considering renting through them. We dealt with Xara and George, and in our experience, the level of transparency and professionalism was seriously lacking. We were not informed about the substantial noise from planes and the nearby heliport before renting the property. These are not minor details, they can have a significant impact on someone's quality of life and are exactly the sort of issues prospective tenants should be made aware of. We were also extremely concerned by the apparent lack of knowledge regarding ventilation requirements for the property. When you are dealing with people's homes, you would expect an estate agent to have a reasonable understanding of important property-related requirements or, at the very least, to obtain the correct information rather than leaving tenants to deal with the consequences. What made the situation even worse was the attitude we encountered when we raised our concerns. We were effectively told that we were not their client because the landlord was their client, and that they would advise the landlord not to offer us an alternative property. This was an incredibly dismissive and hostile way to deal with legitimate concerns. The whole experience left us feeling that the financial interests of the agency and the landlord were being prioritised over treating tenants fairly and transparently. In my opinion, this is exactly the kind of experience that prospective tenants should know about before committing to a property. Do your own investigations, ask very specific questions, and do not assume that important issues will necessarily be disclosed to you. Based on our experience, I would not rent through Farrar Estate Agents and cannot recommend them. The lack of transparency, the dismissive treatment of our concerns, and the attitude we encountered from Xara and George have completely undermined our trust in this agency.

If there were 100 stars, Farrar would merit them all. I bought and sold a flat in Redcliffe Gardens with Farrar in the early Noughties before Google reviews existed. They were excellent then and I remember Julian taking the time at 7pm to meet my father and reassure him it was a good buy. So what a pleasure to buy with them again in 2026! Their excellence, their honesty, their indepth knowledge of the Chelsea market, their attention to detail, their sense of customer service and their kindness is as high as ever. Julian is the reverse of the flashy, untrustworthy estate agent of cliché whom sadly aren't just a cliché - as a buyer, you still meet quite a lot. He thinks before he speaks and what he says is completely reliable; he doesn't boast or waffle, he simply delivers, with no fuss. And although some agents say they go the extra mile, all they mean is they talk more. Julian actually does it. When we found black mould on a wall (it was a fixer upper house) once the furniture had been taken away and the buyers' solicitor refused to pay for it to be cleaned, Julian simply stepped in and scrubbed and told me afterwards! Tammy on admin is ultra-efficient and I feel any emergency up to and including an invasion by Putin would not faze her. I recommend Farrar unhesitatingly.

"Fabrica" just a name they use to…

"Fabrica" just a name they use to disguise themselves as a social housing provider, everything seems great through the purchasing phase but the workmanship quality is poor my home is now 8 years old in this time we've encountered significant damage due to poor workmanship at point of installation. You get no service from Fabrica and as a freehold owner are shoehorned into their leaseholder dept, not only that we were forced to share communal spaces with their tenants which isn't pleasant when you try to have issues resolved they fall into a black hole never to be seen or heard from again. I wish I had used a major property developer to buy my home and not the masked social landlord.

Absolutely great experience with renting our flat from George and the team. We had a really bad experience prior to meeting George when the previous flat we were supposed to move in a couple of days fell through. The team came to the rescue and they were all proactive and super helpful. We really appreciated the fact that they were updating us on the process without us having to beg for an update and they made us feel taken care of at an extremely stressful time for us as we would have potentially been homeless otherwise! Terrible workmanship even worse inspection

Discovered my extractor fan is going up 6ft in the loft. The contractor put a plastic pipe and taped some loft insulation around it (badly). No condensation trap, nothing. Did not bother with ready made double insulated hose that is readily available. If this was inspected whoever passed it should be ashamed.
