Excellent service even with a challenging sale

A very long and drawn out sale due to problems further down the chain, the Enfield Town branch of equity were excellent at getting potential buyers in, communicated well throughout, always called to give feedback after viewings and kept me updated on market conditions, once a sale was agreed Helen in the Hertford Road branch did a great job of chasing solicitors, agents, buyers and pushing things through as quickly as possible. I'd definitely recommend using Equity.

Not even deserve 1 star. Bunch of liars work there. Never ever give your property to them to sell. They will inform you that they have booked viewings but in reality its just fake information and you will be in fake hope that someone have viewed your property and you might get some offers. Just de-instructed them. Wasted my 3 Months.

Flat sale: sold relatively quickly, fees quite high, but communication wasn't great and we have felt a bit patronised by our point of contact throughout the process. The experience of using two agents on two different properties has been enlightening, our other agent couldn't be more on the ball or friendly. Highlight has been dealing with Gabby - if you need an answer or something doing, she is your girl - knowledgeable, quick, and very professional.

Being a landlord for the first time is daunting. Gina and Snr partner Mark met with me at my home and gave me reassurances that my property would be properly cared for. Having a Snr partner with years of experience there to answer my questions made me feel very important (big tick!) Gina is great. She is lovely and professional at the same time! Equity offered me competitive rates, took great photo's and within weeks my property was snapped up! My handover to the management Team was also seamless. If I could give minus stars I would

If I could give minus stars I would. This company represents everything that is bad with High St estate agents. Extremely poor service, yes they probably have a huge database but it’s full of people not interested in buying houses just voyeuristic time wasters, who cannot meet mortgage criteria. This company promised big and delivered less than nothing. They failed to pass on ALL offers, in order for them to sell to a couple who were clearly willing to pay to secure a cheap deal. Agents didn’t bother to attend the viewings and arranged viewings when I was busy with guests at home. I even asked one couple if they wanted a house in my area and they said no. Equity did not provide me with any feedback despite me asking, in the end I let the contract lapse so I could move to another agent. Don’t waste your time use an online agent, where you have transparency and control over your sale. AVOID at all costs
