Lewis was the agent managing our purchase and was very helpful and professional throughout despite many difficulties and miscommunications lower down our chain. He helped to communicate clearly with the vendors and to ensure that everything got over the line. He also helpfully arranged for a surveyor and electrician to attend. Compared to our interactions with our own estate agents (Sterlings) and those further down the chain (Sterling Ackroyd), Ellisons were on another level (FAR SUPERIOR!).

I engaged 3 agencies to market my property. One was defeatist and low in estimate, one was flashy with a pitch full of corporate lets/sales, and then there was Ellisons. From our valuation meeting with Aidan, we were inspired by his professionalism and managed confidence, so they were the natural choice. Two viewings later we had an offer for full asking price (from the first viewers!). Don't get me wrong, we put a lot of effort in presenting our place properly for sale, but this was still a great outcome. Really goes to show they are the local experts and have a gift for placing the right people with the right property. From that point on the whole team were great at ensuring that the sale stayed on track, especially in challenging economic times. Dan was fantastic in mediating the details, and Lewis was incredibly helpful anytime we needed to call or pop into the branch. We definitely felt reassured throughout the process. Phoned Friday regarding a property, was told it was available and I could get a viewing on Monday. I told the woman on the phone if anyone else is interested, phone me and I will put a deposit down to secure it. Phoned Monday morning was told I will get a viewing at mid day.
