We were very pleased with the service that we got from Ella. Our initial meeting with Mark was most insightful, and we enjoyed hearing his philosophy on marketing a property. The commission that was proposed was very reasonable, and less than local competitors. Professional photography was included in the fee, and was of an excellent standard, and there were no other extra charges as the EPC was also included. Mark and Tina guided us through the whole journey, remained calm when there was the occasional understandable bump, and responded quickly to our questions. Ella always acted professionally and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

We have moved house 6 times, and Ella, as our sole agent on this occasion, were the best we have had. The team accompanied all viewings as we requested, kept us informed, and were supportive, through to completion., We feel we benefitted from them being an independent agency, because as with the bigger players, they had access to all the same technology but with a more personal approach.

View AgentsDealing with Ella to sell my late father's property was a truly dreadful experience
Ella sell a lot of properties because they value them near the bottom of the market which is ok if you want to get on and sell quickly, but might not suit everyone. They did very little to act on my behalf as the client.. They didn't get the place on the market as quickly as promised and I never saw the brochure on the house that they also promised. They did find a buyer for me but when the buyers were slow to get legal proceeding kicked off Ella did nothing to chase it up until prompted by my solicitor, Worst of all for me, meddling by Mark Ayres turned the run up to completion of the sale from a stressful experience into a distressing and stressful time. They say on their website that "our relationship with the client is never taken for granted". I didn't find this to be true and I certainly wouldn't recommend them.

Hi Stephanie We are truly sorry that you feel this way. We actually had to chase the solicitor rather than the other way around and always try to work in the best interests of our clients the vendors. Your buyer was ready by mid February but sadly, on this occassion due to reasons set out to us by your solicitor it could not complete until the May. We chased this on a weekly basis for you right up until completion. We certainly don't mean to meddle, rather we intend to maintain communication between all parties and ensure the sale reaches exchange and completion for all parties. Indeed, he seriously outclassed the firm of solicitors we used to do the transaction, and was always more on top of what was happening in the chain than they were. Would definitely recommend.

The valuation was very professional and they gave me a full breakdown of my local area and what I could expect to achieve. Being a new build home, I had thought it would take a few months to sell, but within no time, we had accepted an offer and were planning our next purchase. I was confident with my purchaser thanks to the thorough financial checking process Ella adopt, and also their regular updates via email through to exchange. So all in all, a great service and I would only use Ella in the future.
