GoogleI engaged David Lovett of Duncan Perry Estate Agents earlier in the year just before Covid-19 struck hard. I invited three reputable, local agents to tender for the sale, selecting David because he coupled a business approach with a friendly, engaging personality. I felt that we would get on well and we did. Initial viewings were quickly arranged and David found a very interested buyer before lockdown. David remained in close touch over the time when nothing could happen, secured our purchaser when 'normality' was resumed and completion is tomorrow, Monday 24th August! Duncan personally came round and gave us a fair valuation and eased our minds with the sale process. We are pleased to say we are completing next week and on to the next chapter of our lives. GoogleMy father and I sold two houses in Potters Bar with Duncan Perry and they were consistently marvellous throughout especially as we emerged from lockdown. They were professional with potential buyers and very supportive and caring with both of us as sellers. We were also buying a house and our agents for that purchase remarked at how friendly and helpful DP were when they rang. It's been a difficult time for me and Dad this year but DP helped us through both property sales super efficiently. GoogleI recently completed a purchase as an international buyer moving to the UK, and Duncan Perry was the estate agent. My offer was accepted prior to the COVID lockdown and exchange/completion happened in August after restrictions began to ease. In short, it was a difficult time to attempt an international move. Despite the complex nature of the deal, Jo was efficient and professional and worked to ease uncertainty both for myself and the vendors. The exchange/completion went through smoothly despite the complications associated with the international mortgage, economic uncertainty due to lockdown, and the restrictions for surveys and valuations. GoogleI asked for the council tax band on the flat they are renting. She told me that I should find out myself even though I said I looked into it and could not find. I asked her to ask to landlord if he or she knows but she did not care less. Shame cos it seemed like a right flat for us.
