Wasteland, dead trees and lack of customer care

Dandara have been great with the build, snagging and general service.. until handing over the estate to the management team.It’s clear now Dandara do not care about residents and external parts of how St Michaels Park, Stewkley has been left. Saying it’s now passed to the management company. It certainly does not look like the brochures bought from! Wasteland, dead bushes, patches where plants removed and not replaced, dead trees, piles of mud around the children’s play area, sand paths that do not withstand weather or use. The communal areas on our estate are a mess and it’s very disappointing to receive email replies that basically say ‘not our problem’. As a case study for Dandara I should be proud of the estate I live on, but I am unhappy with the awful communal areas and mess that Dandara have failed us on and are clearly happy with their standards.

The whole process of the house purchase and subsequent customer care after moving in has been excellent. A particular mention to Andrew in the sales office who was always extremely helpful and responsive to any queries and went out of his way to accommodate us. Max on site as well has been helpful especially with the aftercare and I would recommend Dandara to anyone thinking of buying a new build, the experience felt as though there was a personal touch at every step so we are overall very happy with our new home!

After pre-reserving a new-build house in Edinburgh in June 2022, we recently moved into the property and are very satisfied with Dandara's level of care and customer service.We undertook thorough research before buying with Dandara and are pleased that the good reviews are, in fact, true. We've had a great experience throughout the whole process of reserving the house, choosing the fittings and upgrades, completing and moving in and, finally, adjusting to life in the new house.Both the sales team and builders have been very friendly and helpful and we're particularly impressed with the level of care and attention that's been given since we've moved in - including regularly checking in on us and getting our snags fixed quickly.The only thing I would mention is that it would've been nice to have a bit more contact from Dandara in the lead up to our completion date. Although I understand that it can be tricky to provide concrete details before completing.Overall, we'd recommend buying with Dandara!
