GoogleMy experience of Cox and Co, and more specifically China-Jane who handled my case, was that they are a detailed, skilled and slick mortgage service. I was kept in the loop at all times and China handled all of the most awkward requests from the mortgage providers with good humour and patience. Cox and Co are a little more expensive than other providers, but this is definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for.'

GoogleI have worked with and known Cox and Co for many years now and it is no surprise that they have established themselves as a major player in the Edinburgh Property market. All the staff are very customer focussed and have a genuine willingness to help. They also arranged an excellent mortgage for me - so much more helpful than going to my bank!

GoogleIncredibly high-standard service, with impeccable attention to detail and extremely fast turnaround times. I have worked with China-Jane at Cox&Co on several residential property purchases over the past 6 months. Some of these were particularly tricky deals, requiring bespoke mortgage arrangements and precise timing to optimise the structure of my portfolio. Cox&Co delivered on every level, with excellent communication and service to ensure transactions occurred quickly and without disruption. They have provided me with an extremely valuable service from outset, and I look forward to continuing to work with them for future transactions.

GoogleI couldn't rate the service from Niall at Cox & Co more highly. Niall's expertise arranging our mortgage made buying our first house quick and painless. We received all the advice and explanation that we needed every step of the way, and Niall was always on hand to chase the lender (and us, on occasion!) when necessary. The office location is also incredibly central and really handy for popping by when required. We were made to feel very welcome by Director John Cox - a lovely company to deal with from start to finish.

GoogleViewed a property last year with this company, Mike one of the property managers was very unhelpful and I can concur with the other negative reviews on here that they are indeed rude and obnoxious to deal with, steer clear!

GoogleAs a first time buyer, I was absolutely clueless about this buying business. For 6 months I had been looking around to buy a house but call it a stroke of luck, my affairs were put in the good hands of China Jane whose professionalism, patience and meticulousness really made it a walk in the park for me. Always prompt, always thorough and to the point, and always at your disposal for for each and every query, I did not even for once have to think of going elsewhere for mortgage advice. No matter how many times I asked her to walk me through all the technical stuff, she was there to answer me. And to top it all, her patience and calmness in sticking with me through all the rejections, really makes her an asset to have for any buyer. Highly recommended.

GoogleWorking over the past year with China-Jane has been the best decision I made. She thoroughly talked me through all of the steps needed to secure a mortgage, helped with the viewing and buying process and was always on hadn't to answer any questions I had. I wouldn't use any other service.

China Jane presented as knowledgeable and helped to find a suitable mortgage product. I was kept well informed with clear and prompt written communication throughout the process and would have no hesitation in working with her in the future.

GoogleAs a nervous first time landlord I found Mike from Cox & Co. really easy to deal with. He was extremely knowledgeable and his friendly, professional manner was very reassuring. He was able to to advise me on various concerns I had and I wouldn't hesitate to do business again with them in the future.

GoogleCox & Co. arranged our mortgage. We worked with China there, who was wonderful throughout the whole process. We didn't have the first clue what we were doing, since we hadn't ever bought property before. She walked us through it all, step by step, and answered a nearly endless onslaught of our questions and worries. Very professional and considerate - really made us feel like she was in our corner the whole time, trying to get us exactly what we needed and wanted. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

GoogleAwful first experience renting through an agency. Staff were rude and obnoxious, didn't seem to care about tenants at all, the standard of the flat was poor. Moved into a dirty, smelly flat with mould hidden behind furniture. Had to ask for it to be cleaned on the day I moved in becasue it clearly hadn't been. Disgusting!! Do not bother with this company.

GoogleUnprofessional and rude We wanted to rent a flat that is managed by this company and landlord accepted our offer. Unfortunately for us and the landlord this agency was unwilling or unable to communicate in professional manner. They refused to answer simplest question (e.g. furnishing of the flat) and expected us to sign the lease without explaining any of its terms. Furthermore they were extremely rude and obnoxious. A month has passed and this attractive flat is still hanging on Gumtree. Doesn't it speak for itself?

GoogleI was an accidental landlord for a year while house sitting elsewhere, and Cox and Co arranged everything for me in order to let the property, maintain it and look after the tenants. Being a small family run firm it was easy to speak to the relevant person whenever I needed to get in contact- which due to a dodgy old boiler was more often than any of us would have liked!
