Helen Sims Feethams Darlington I have bought a ground floor flat in the feethams complex and have found it a very good experience. There were very few snags and these were sorted out by the sales department and site managers. I would recommend Charles Church to friends and family as I am very happy with my home.

It’s early days and I’m sure a few teething troubles will present themselves along the way but hey handcrafted products are like that. We brought a Charles Church house in The Ridings, Co Durham. Can’t speak highly enough about Sandy ( sales admin) who was on the ball at all times, helpful and very thorough. Love our house and any little snags were quickly sorted out by the team in Customer Care in Durham. Highly recommend the Charles Church team as professional and efficient. Thanks!!

This is the second house we have purchased through kate at the Morley Park development in plymstock. We have found the whole process easy and hassle free. We had a couple snags as is to be expected with any new build however these were rectified really quickly. We are so happy with our new house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this development to any of our family and friends.

From the start Kate has made me and my family very welcome to the site. Kate has kept us up to date on the development of our property and always made room for us to come and visit to see how it's all going. All of the staff have been really friendly and honest in answering any questions we presented. Kate is making this venture a comfortable and hassle free which is helping us out more than she knows. The site looks amazing and seeing residents in already we can easily see ourselves spending many happy years here. We look forward to our completion

Got the keys in Feb 18 and still chasing for issues to be resolved/fixed. The site manager is a full of lies and promises and the customer care team do not respond to emails and keep delaying or keep passing you from contact to contact. The house had and still has a lot of issues that need to be addressed and it has put a dent to the experience of buying a so called new built home from this so called premium quality developer!The house was not clean when I moved in! I immediately started noticing issues and compiled a snag list of issues which I'm still fighting to get sorted!!The garage has dented and damaged bricks inside. The roof both garage and house had over 6 broken tiles. the paint work inside the house is laughable. Lots of marks all over the walls and a very rushed job. The kitchen had several issues with the units containing chips or cracks and the sink was leaking and lose tap. The flooring had scratches on some panels and one of the windows had a scratch. chrome door handles have scratches and the main entrance door has a dent along with leaking toilets. radiator not heating up, dent in the stairway wooden railing. The list goes on.. patio slabs cracked and over 15 with concrete on them. Fire exit window hinges were not working in 3 of the windows! The garden front and back have holes left from the scaffolding. There are more but I want everyone to understand how poor this is and how they have no respect for the person buying or living in the property.I wouldn't even give one star but do not have that option on here.I'm in the process of contacting watch dog and other newspapers who will have a keen interest in the experience to date with Charles Church. Several neighbors have also expressed interest. If anyone else would like to join me get in touch.Thank you

Good house, awful aftercare.Bought a house and was mostly happy. One issue with the landscaping has since become a complete headache since it seems policy to avoid helping customers with any issues that aren't minor. Bit of advice- refuse to part with your cash until you are absolutely happy with the house. Once they have your money they suddenly don't care about you at all.

We bought a home from Charles Church on their Woodberry Heights site. The support and help we have recieved during and after the purchase from the sales team and site manager has been amazing. If we had the money to do it all again we would not hesitate in buying another home with Charles Church. The home is beautiful and the finish exceptional.

We bought a new house from Charles Church on Tyneside in May 2018. Having finally found a buyer for our previous house we were then facing homelessness, so we were anxious to find somewhere that met our needs.Fortuitously we called in at the Charles Church development only 3 miles from where we were living. After a tour of the show house, we decided there and then to put our names down for an identical model.The sales lady was extremely helpful and professional, and from day 1 we felt we were in safe hands. She guided us painlessly through every stage of the process, which included regular liaison with all the legal parties involved. And it did not stop there: after we had moved in she was always on hand to help with any queries or issues.May/June was the estimated handover point, and this was duly completed on the last day of May.We are extremely happy with our new home, and cannot believe how well managed the entire process was. Inevitably a few "snagging" jobs have surfaced, but these have all been dealt with by the customer care team.We cannot recommend Charles Church highly enough, and unhesitatingly recommend anyone considering buying a newbuild to take a look at one of their developments.Quentin & Lorraine Scott
