The team you have at Newton Abbot are a credit to your name, very professional and also Dave the manager was a breath of fresh air, every time we had a problem or a question his voice was always so helpful, nothing was ever to much trouble. The Newton Abbot team of Michelle, Beth and Dave could not have done anymore than they did to assist us with our sale. We had a very bad experience with our solicitor but through it all they tried to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. It was a reasonably complex sale and James was representing the seller but he was a fantastic help to both sides throughout. We found him to be open, honest and trustworthy, he kept the communication flowing throughout and when there were bumps in the road he navigated them calmly and professionally. The guide price was suggested by the agent who then identified the most likely buyers (from overseas) amongst those viewing, spent some considerable time answering their queries and achieved a sale at the full asking price within three weeks from launch. The agent continued to be involved with both parties and their lawyers right up to exchange and completion. We couldn't have had a better experience.

As a first time buyer, I wasn't aware how much is involved in buying a home. Despite the property being with another agent, as the onward chain involved Chamberlains - they were proactive and extremely impressive in getting the chain moving, whilst my agents seemingly ended their interest once the sale was agreed! Considering there was no benefit to Chamberlains in getting involved in my part of the chain, James spent hours dealing with my solicitors and presumably others, to cut through red tape & delays threatening to turn a first time purchase into a drawn out nightmare. Whilst the chain moving would I'm sure of benefited them I cannot thank Chamberlains enough for their refreshing approach to estate agency and actually understanding that a house purchase isn't just a transaction, they actually care about the people changing their lives!
