GoogleI had an appalling time with this agency.
I put in an offer on a rental property, which was accepted. Worked with them on the vetting process, which I passed. We agreed on acceptance of the offer that I would hold the tenancy, and my partner and children were to be permitted residents. This was important as my partner is not ideally placed to be an applicant at this juncture.
This was the basis upon which I decided to proceed with this property. I followed everything they asked for to the letter. Then three days before we moved in they asked for my partner details, and they now wanted to vet him, which wasn’t what we agreed. Denied the validity of a tax calculation in lieu of and SA302, which is the same thing - it’s just published earlier.
They withdrew the offer the day before we moved in. No duty of care, no advice as to where to go, or what do do next. As a consequence of the withdrawal, my daughters missed 20 days of school, as we were effectively then homeless for 6 weeks.
We eventually were able to get something else and were just able to get the kids back to school without losing their places. It was just the most horrendous and distressing situation I’d ever been in in my 24 years as a tenant.
Capital move the goal posts, then lie to conceal the fact, and are so irresponsible considering they are key components in people’s lives at an already stressful time that anyone self-employed, or not in a very traditional lifestyle set up I would say proceed with caution.
There was a basic lack of understanding about how things work and the integrity of unique circumstances. Withdrawing an offer 1 day before a move with no duty of care policy in place is negligence, and particularly when it comes to handling families with children. Please BEWARE and make sure everything you agree is documented on email.

Based on this we were unable to grant you tenancy of the intended property. A delay of these documents also played into the tight time frame of which was required for your move.
We must act with integrity and due diligence. In this instance, it became clear that some crucial information was not provided or clarified, despite our repeated requests. It's worth noting that any decision made in relation to an application, especially one as significant as withdrawing an offer, is never taken lightly. Such decisions are always based on specific criteria and in line with the property owner's preferences.
We always aim to ensure that the rental process is transparent, fair, and efficient. We are genuinely sorry for the disruption this caused you and your family. We remain committed to providing excellent service to all our clients and continue to strive to ensure situations like these are kept to a minimum.

GoogleHighly disappointing experience. I had a property viewing with Liberty, one on their agents. On the viewing day I was asked to move earlier my appointment because Liberty the agent couldn’t make at the time we previously agreed. Later she text me saying she’s was in a traffic jam and she’ll let me know once she get there. I keep waiting for her down the building entrance for half an hour. I tried to call to get an update, send a message but no reply after 30 minutes waiting. Later on I see people getting into the building but no text or called received from the agent. Same people come back downstairs and one of them surprisingly is the agent. She said that she was unable to show me the flat anymore because seems to have some issues in getting access to it. To the team, it’s important that you understand that people don’t care if you’re sorry or any other excuses you made up after you mess with their time. You should just say that you were unprofessional, rude in not reply and not calling back after a client tried to reach you more than couple of time. You were late and after you arrived there, you didn’t bother to check on people waiting for your ‘being late’. No communication at all. You definitely do not know the basic of doing business and how to treat clients. Shame on you!
