Very professional throughout, nothing was too much trouble. I was nervous to sell but they put me at ease and were very on the ball with viewings. I sold quite quickly with a good offer. They always kept to their word and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. Their care through a tricky exchange was second to none. They genuinely care about their vendors and buyers, which is a rare thing. Thank you to Stacey, Eamon, Mason and Jake.

GoogleI purchased a property with this agency in May ‘25 and hands down they are the best agency in Folkestone. After 2 failed attempts the 3rd one was successful. The seller was not great but the agency has been a fantastic mediator, giving the both parties the structure and realistic expectations needed on both ends. This guys are genuine experts willing to make their customers happy. I will definitely carry on collaborating with them in to rent/sell my property. Thank you 🙏

GoogleHighly recommend Burnap and Abel in Dover. I sold my house this year with them and as I purchased a new build, the sale was far from straightforward; there were lots of twists and turns along the way! However, with the support, ongoing communication and personal service from Stacie, Eamonn and the team, I felt more at ease. I also felt more comfortable selling my house through a smaller estate agents rather than a larger, corporate chain. Thank you B&A Dover!

GoogleWe have just sold our flat in Dover with Burnap & Abel, and thr whole process was so simple and smooth. From the initial meeting, to the valuation and photos, to the actual selling; it was flawless. They were always available on the phone with any questions, and was really informative and polite. Had a really nice exchange after selling with them. Overall, superb service and would definitely recommend. Eamonn, Stacie & Team, thanks again. You guys were fabulous!

GoogleWe would not reccommend Burnap and Abel in Dover. Booking viewings was straightforward and quick but when we decided to make an offer for one of their properties we were pressurised into speaking to their mortgage advisor. The mortgage advisor was not knowledgable and he insisted that in order to make an offer for a house we needed to have an appointment with him, disclose our financial information and receive his advice. He also insisted that we need a full mortgage offer from the bank and that an agreement in principle was not sufficient, which is, of course, incorrect. The bank confirmed that this was not possible and that they can only provide an agreement in principle in the initial stages of putting in an offer. Only once an offer has been agreed can buyers begin a formal mortgage application which takes around 2 weeks to get processed. Customers are free to make their own decisions regarding whether they want to use the estate agents' mortgage advisors and aggressive marketing techniques such as these give estate agents a bad name. In the end, we bought a house through another local estate agent who were kind, honest and professional.

The experience we had with them was worlds apart from our previous experience with another local estate agent, who relied on slimy sales tactics and pressured us into using their expensive solicitor (be vigilant when buying your first house!). Stacie, Lily & Eammon at Burnap & Abel were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were friendly, approachable, and truly went above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free. We visited the property multiple times throughout the process, and every time, the team was punctual and accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble. Their professionalism and genuine care for us as first-time buyers really stood out. If you’re looking for an estate agent who will put your needs first, Burnap & Abel is the way to go. GoogleWhen I lived in Folkestone, I always used Burnap and Able. Brought a house on their books originally and then sold with them a few years later. Great service, really quick completion both time and also kept in the loop what was happening. Sold my house on the day it went on their books before it even went online. If I moved back would definitely use and would recommend to friends.

GoogleOverall a good experience. Sadly, They didn't manage to sell our house, possibly a little overpriced in this market? However they had a bloody good go at selling our flat in Folkestone. This didn't go through after a few attempts (no fault of Burnaps, just unreliable time-wasting buyers) and they are now managing the rental for us. I will use them again when we have another attempt at selling our flat. I can't fault their tenacity.

GoogleBy far the worst experience ever with an estate agent. Daryl is incompetent beyond belief, we spent more time chasing him than speaking with him as he ignored our messages. Daryl failed miserably by not passing important messages to the vendor thus causing delays in completion. If possible avoid this company as they really provide a poor service.
Hello. Thank you for the review! However, I’d like to point out that the estate agent agrees the sale and does not have any legal sway in a sale what so ever in this country. That’s what you pay a solicitor for. Daryl is a sales agent who shows people around and deals with offers. Any message to be conveyed would not of held up a completion on a sale! It’s actually an impossible thing for us to do. But thank your feedback none the less.

GoogleWe bought our currrent home from this agency and they were fantastic. The lady in the office kept in touch with us as the sale progressed and also both solicitors. At the viewing the staff were informative and helpful Finally when we went to collect our keys we were also given champagne which was a lovely touch I would never use anyone else and having sold property via other agents (one who couldn’t even find my key on completion) I can honestly say these are first class

GoogleWe chose to sell our property through Burnap + Abel this year for a few reasons but mainly because of trust. We were really clear on how much we wanted for our property and after another local agent laughed at us, Damian was honest and said he would give it his best shot. Less than 2 months later, we were sold for our asking price. After being messed around by another local agent on a property we were hoping to buy, Damian notified me immediately when they were appointed to sell a similar property. They then got us in to view the property that day and our offer accepted. I couldn’t recommend the Burnap + Abel team more and thank them for everything they did for us. Our chain is all Burnap + Abel which further demonstrates the trust and share of the Folkestone property marketing.
