Very professional throughout, nothing was too much trouble. I was nervous to sell but they put me at ease and were very on the ball with viewings. I sold quite quickly with a good offer. They always kept to their word and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. Their care through a tricky exchange was second to none. They genuinely care about their vendors and buyers, which is a rare thing. Thank you to Stacey, Eamon, Mason and Jake.

GoogleBy far the worst experience ever with an estate agent. Daryl is incompetent beyond belief, we spent more time chasing him than speaking with him as he ignored our messages. Daryl failed miserably by not passing important messages to the vendor thus causing delays in completion. If possible avoid this company as they really provide a poor service.
Hello. Thank you for the review! However, I’d like to point out that the estate agent agrees the sale and does not have any legal sway in a sale what so ever in this country. That’s what you pay a solicitor for. Daryl is a sales agent who shows people around and deals with offers. Any message to be conveyed would not of held up a completion on a sale! It’s actually an impossible thing for us to do. But thank your feedback none the less.

GoogleWe chose to sell our property through Burnap + Abel this year for a few reasons but mainly because of trust. We were really clear on how much we wanted for our property and after another local agent laughed at us, Damian was honest and said he would give it his best shot. Less than 2 months later, we were sold for our asking price. After being messed around by another local agent on a property we were hoping to buy, Damian notified me immediately when they were appointed to sell a similar property. They then got us in to view the property that day and our offer accepted. I couldn’t recommend the Burnap + Abel team more and thank them for everything they did for us. Our chain is all Burnap + Abel which further demonstrates the trust and share of the Folkestone property marketing.

GoogleI purchased a property with this agency in May ‘25 and hands down they are the best agency in Folkestone. After 2 failed attempts the 3rd one was successful. The seller was not great but the agency has been a fantastic mediator, giving the both parties the structure and realistic expectations needed on both ends. This guys are genuine experts willing to make their customers happy. I will definitely carry on collaborating with them in to rent/sell my property. Thank you 🙏

GoogleMany thanks to Charlotte at the Dover branch she’s a diamond, helped me find my first house which such ease, there’s no pressure or pushing you to buy a house at the top end of your budget like other estate agents do only thinking about there commission, always kept updated with everything that’s going on with the process of buying my house. Definitely recommend using this Burnap + Abel I’ll be going back to them when I want to sell wouldn’t consider anyone else. Thank you Charlotte see you soon.

GoogleWe bought our currrent home from this agency and they were fantastic. The lady in the office kept in touch with us as the sale progressed and also both solicitors. At the viewing the staff were informative and helpful Finally when we went to collect our keys we were also given champagne which was a lovely touch I would never use anyone else and having sold property via other agents (one who couldn’t even find my key on completion) I can honestly say these are first class

GoogleTheir figures speak for themselves. Year after year topping the charts in our area. The best estate agent we've used and the only one we consider now. Sold several properties with them over the years and they've always achieved full asking price or very close to, in good time. I'm not always the easiest to deal with, admittedly, with the pressures and stresses of the whole buying/selling process, solicitors dragging their feet and ignoring calls for weeks on end but all the team at Burnap + Abel have always been understanding, helpful and chased things up for us whenever asked. All round a good group of lads/ladies.

GoogleOverall a good experience. Sadly, They didn't manage to sell our house, possibly a little overpriced in this market? However they had a bloody good go at selling our flat in Folkestone. This didn't go through after a few attempts (no fault of Burnaps, just unreliable time-wasting buyers) and they are now managing the rental for us. I will use them again when we have another attempt at selling our flat. I can't fault their tenacity.

GoogleWhen I lived in Folkestone, I always used Burnap and Able. Brought a house on their books originally and then sold with them a few years later. Great service, really quick completion both time and also kept in the loop what was happening. Sold my house on the day it went on their books before it even went online. If I moved back would definitely use and would recommend to friends.

GoogleFrom the outside you are not sure what this restaurant serves..it says Pan Asian..so still not sure. Glad we tried it though....food was Thai mix service was very good..food was excellent. Could have done with more ambience but it was early when we arrived. Definitely recommend..defo returning.

GoogleWe are cash buyers and despite going there in person from London, our details were not entered onto their system and we think a judgement was made on how we looked by Daryl, who never followed up with us. Once we had made further contact by phone some weeks later, Jamie did try and was helpful initially but Daryl, who was supposedly our main contact, never contacted us at all. Unfortunately, we found them to be generally more style over substance and we have very quickly had better experiences with other estate agents in Folkestone.

Hi Dan, I find it very hard to work out how its our fault that the landlord of the property you rent, has paid and contacted a local locksmith firm, that has called you and left you voicemails to sort your lock, and you have not responded. Firstly, we took over the management of the property from another agent when you had a damaged lock. My colleague Jamie escalated the problem to the landlord, who has organised a firm to fix it and you hadnt responded. Secondly, we do not own the property or pay for repairs ourselves. Once again i have tried to contact you today and no response. Pretty poor grounds for a 1 star review!!!
