After 54 years of living in the same house my mother took the plunge and decided to move closer to her family. Clearly the step of actually putting her home on the market was the biggest step to take. After having other well known agents come around and go through the standard spiel not taking into account my mother’s emotions, Tom knocked on the door from BAO and from then on in, supported by a fab team at the Bromborough office (Sandy, Emma and Gill - thank you), the sale went through. The most important thing for me though was the way they ‘helped’ my mum through the process, at all times explaining to her what was happening and next steps, whilst keeping me appraised of everything that was happening so I could give my mum a supporting phone call. One key thing was that at no point when speaking to the office did we ever get told “I’m not sure about that as I’m not doing that sale”, everyone in the office was fully up to speed on the sale and didn’t have to defer to someone else. That is the first time I have ever had this from an agent. Can’t recommend them enough.

The team at the Bromborough office are all very fast to respond to any queries when dealing with both my sale and my onward purchase. We had a challenging process at times but the whole team at BAO were faultless throughout, and if ever someone was not available another person in the team would step in to ensure things kept moving for us. Moving house is well known to be stressful at the best of times, so when we decided to move after 35 years we were obviously way out of touch with the process, and things have certainly changed in those intervening years. Many estate agents came with recommendations from friends and colleagues - but in order to help us decide, we took on the role of "secret shopper" - contacting a variety of agents asking for properties in certain locations in order that we could judge them "as if they were selling our house". The one that stood head and shoulders above the rest was Brennan Ayre O'Neill (BAO) - and even though their "local" office was not on the "high street" in Bebington (closest to where we were selling and wanting to buy), the customer centric service we got from them was exemplary. This is why we choose them to manage our sale - and they also offered to act as our "agent" for the buying process, which helped with the stress levels, as they did a lot of the negotiating for us. During several months of highs and lows of the buying and selling process, the one constant was the exceptional support and advice that we got from BAO. Irrespective of who picked up the phone, they knew exactly where we were in the sell/buy process, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would I recommended Brennan, Ayre O'Neill? As I have certification in "Service Excellence" from the Disney Institute in Florida, I think I'm well placed to answer that question. The answer is a 100% recommendation! Well done BAO!!
