⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We cannot thank Bradford & Howley enough for the outstanding service they provided in selling our parents’ house. This has been an incredibly emotional and difficult time for our family. Both of our parents had to move into residential care, and sadly they both passed away before the sale was completed, meaning the property also had to go through probate. From the outset, Bradford & Howley gave us excellent advice and guidance, helping us make informed decisions at every stage. They marketed the property quickly, managed all the viewings professionally, kept my sister and me fully informed throughout the process, and ultimately achieved the right price for the house. There were several issues with the chain along the way, and it unfortunately collapsed twice through no fault of the agents. Despite these setbacks, Sarah and Liam remained positive, proactive and determined, working tirelessly to keep everything on track. Thanks to their persistence and dedication, we finally completed today. A special thank you to Sarah and Liam for truly going the extra mile. Their professionalism, honesty and support made a very difficult time much easier to deal with. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Bradford & Howley. We had our house on the market with a couple of other agents before settling with Bradford and Howley. They were selling the property we wanted and they were the ones that were doing all the work so we decided to use them to sell our house. The Marshalswick office took us on and treated us brilliantly. Kerry and Paul were fantastic and sold our house within a couple of weeks. All through the process they have kept on top of the sale calling us with regular updates. Cairen should also get a mention as she was a real driving force keeping tabs on the chain, as should Liam. We have recently bought and sold with Bradford & Howley Harpenden. I’ll admit I was initially skeptical about using Bradford & Howley again after a poor experience with staff at their St. Albans branch roughly five years ago when offering on a property. However, the Harpenden team has completely shifted my perspective with their handling of both our sale and purchase. The front-end of the process was remarkably efficient. We had more than 30 viewings in just two weeks, and the team was incredibly accommodating, working around our busy schedule to fit in initial and second viewings without any friction. Sarah Hollik, Senior Sales Associate was standout, her communication was proactive, consistent, and she kept us informed every step of the way. Aside from her professional capability she's also an extremely considerate person and keeps the customer at the centre of every decision she makes. Liam Howley jumped in to assist at the precise moment he was required. When the sale demanded a higher level of attention, Liam stepped up personally to manage escalations, which gave us a lot of confidence during the more stressful parts of the move. In a high-pressure market, they managed our expectations clearly and maintained a professional standard throughout. The only constructive feedback I would like to share was around the Sales Progression. We felt there was a lack of proactivity in this department, and it often felt like things only moved when we stepped in to chase them for critical time-bound movement. That being said, the overall service from the Harpenden office was professional and proactive. They successfully navigated a complex move for us, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a solid independent local agency.
