I’m not usually one to leave reviews but I’ve been really impressed with the team at Bradford & Howley. I wanted to mention Christa who showed us around a property. She was really attentive, knew the property inside out, and was genuinely lovely, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The Marshalswick team have also been fantastic. Kerry was also super helpful and lovely to deal with! I’d highly recommend this branch.

We just sold our property through Bradford & Howley today, and we are so impressed with Mark, who provided an accurate valuation of the house. He was genuine, highly professional, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Mark took the time to go through the details of the marketing process with us and offered great reassurance. Once we agreed to put the house on the market with B&H, he arranged for a photographer to come within 48 hours to take beautiful photos and a video of the property, including stunning drone shots. Within two weeks of listing the house, Mark arranged the first group viewing, and we received our first offer immediately, followed by a second offer the very next day. We were absolutely delighted to receive two offers in such a short period. Mark was excellent in the negotiation process and ensured we achieved the price we were hoping for. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Mark and his team, and we can’t recommend them highly enough to anyone looking to sell their property for maximum value.

When we decided to put our house on the market we really were not sure who to sign on with. However we managed to select 4 local agents to speak with, one of whom was Mark at Bradford and Howley. From the moment I made contact with him, he was kind, understanding and reassuring - most unlike estate agents we have had dealings with in the past! Mark visited our house, went through the marketing process and offered us the reassurance and guidance we were looking for. There were never any hint of any aggressive selling techniques, simply a friendly and thorough approach as to how Bradford and Howley were going to market our property. I particularly like the fact that Bradford and Howley were members of the Guild of Property Professionals, the only estate agents in St. Albans allowed this privilege and the additional benefits and reassurances this title comes with. Once we gave the go ahead for Bradford and Howley to sell our property, within 1 week the photographer had been round, viewings were in place and a solicitor secured. And true to their word, within 5 days of putting our house on the market, we had our first offer on the table, ending up with the luxury of 4 offers from the first 7 viewings! Mark was also extremely pro-active in helping us with the properties we were looking to purchase. Once we had narrowed our options down, he did a search on the properties we were considering to find out their selling history in order to give us a good idea of their current value and what to offer on our chosen property. From signing on the dotted line to accepting an offer on our house, the whole process had taken just 3 weeks so thank you to Mark, Kerry and the team who have got us so far so quickly. You feel like you are our friends who we can come to for help and advice - certainly not the traditional estate agent image! Lets hope you guys can keep up the good work and get to completion within the 6 to 8 week time frame we have agreed! In the meanwhile a big thank you to you all for your efforts so far!

I am very glad that I chose Bradford & Howley to sell my house in Marshalswick, St Albans. Both Mark Soanes and Kerry Rushbrooke were excellent and very responsive. After the sale was agreed Mandy Atkins was involved in helping to push matters along and liaise with the other parties and their solicitors and she was also excellent. I would like to say how great Kerry Rushbrooke, Mark Soanes and the team at Bradford & Howley Marshalswick were in selling my mother’s house. They supported us every step of the way during a very difficult time. Always proactive, responsive and professional (unlike another Marshalswick Estate Agent we used beforehand who failed to generate a single viewing for us!) which helped us enormously in overcoming a few hiccups on the way. Special mention must go to Kerry, who went over above the call of duty in urgently delivering some paperwork to our solicitor in time to meet a deadline! Great experience using Bradford & Howley. Of all the agents who we spoke with they seemed to care most about our needs and concerns, this was initially handled by Sam Symonds. The open day was organised very well, they ensured there were lots of potential buyers in attendance and Ciaran Murphy & Louise Bishop made the effort of walking through the property with me the day before to ensure they had all the information ready for potential buyers.
