This place keeps going downhill with rising service charges. Whether you need repairs or maintenance, moving in or out, KV always find a way to charge people.Additionally, they randomly decide to wipe all the codes and fobs out every 6 months falsely claiming they informed people via letters in mailbox and posters in the lobby. Also, the lifts keep breaking down every two months at best. The quality of the flats makes the whole experience even funnier.

Fantastic place to live!

Don’t bother if you have pets or a car. This place is not pet friendly at all (unless you own a fish). Dogs aren’t allowed to go to the toilet in communal spaces (even if picked up after), have to be carried through corridors, can’t make a noise and are frowned upon pretty much everywhere. There are very few bins for dog waste anywhere on the complex, yet you’re not allowed to put your dog waste in big industrial bins. The neighbouring apartments don’t like dogs and will go as far as harassing and bullying you if you take your dogs in public spaces. The estate agent made out parking permits would be easy to get hold of. They are near on impossible to get hold of and are ridiculously overpriced. The building site is in operation monday-Saturday (starting very early) and even with all windows and doors shut, it’s very very loud. Most apartment blocks are empty so it’s like a ghost town in the evening. Surface level it seems a great place to live but this is not the case when you move in and realise you’ve been lied to about pretty much everything. Maybe appropriate for someone who intends on not leaving their apartment.

Review: Berkeley Homes, Kidbrooke Village I have lived at Kidbrooke Village for the best part of five years, and my experience as a homeowner here has been increasingly concerning. Properties at Kidbrooke Village are developed by Berkeley Homes and, while the development initially appears attractive, buyers should pay very close attention to the long term cost of ownership, particularly the service charges. Over the years I have lived here, service charges have increased by roughly 10% every year on average. These increases compound quickly and create a serious affordability issue for many residents. What may seem manageable when you first purchase can become a very significant monthly cost only a few years later. The biggest concern is the impact this has on property values and resale prospects. High and rapidly increasing service charges make properties much harder to sell. Potential buyers understandably factor these costs into their decisions, and in reality this often means owners may need to accept a significant discount if they want to sell. Anyone seriously considering buying here should carefully review the service charge history and think about what it might look like in five or ten years’ time. Kidbrooke Village looks impressive on the surface, but the ongoing costs are something prospective buyers should approach with caution.

Joe on concierge is always smiling and helping around the club, he really helped me with my query at reception and left the club feeling positive and smiley! Thanks Joe!

Every inch of green space will soon be taken over by high rise buildings. A mix mesh of private / share ownership and social housing when I look out of my windows. I used to be able to see the green football pitch and 02 but now completely covered by a tall high rise. It’s not good for mental health when working from home and looking out of the windows and seeing a concrete jungle. Berkeley really has spoilt a regeneration vision of the future for allowing more and more buildings to go up and have the power to have a voice to stop it. There is not enough infrastructure to support an influx of some 6000 residents. My advice to anyone buying and regeneration area is to AVOID

This place WAS beautiful. The GREED for money by builders and politicians is turning this place to another overcrowded area. Every inch of free space is taken up for construction. Many flats have zero privacy. Still there are about 15 new built flats coming up. After few years, it will another story altogether!!
