I have genuinely had the best experience with Avant homes. particularly Sam who has kept me thoroughly updated along the way, and had so much time for me on every single call we have had. I would say she has gone out of her way on many occasions, to keep me happy and help me achieve everything I wanted to during this time! I would highly recommend this company, as well as the gorgeous homes themselves! Thank you so much.

We had a hugely positive experience buying our first home with Avant homes. Not only was Mel super welcoming and helpful she guided through each step- as first time buyers we weren't sure what was going on! But having reserved and given keys within 7 weeks we can't complain at all. We used the mortgage advisor and solicitor recommended by Avant homes of which we had only positive experiences with also. They were so helpful, any time we called to ask a question it was welcomed with happy responses and quick answers- we never felt like we were bothering anyone or that and questions were 'silly'. During our demo day both Mel and Jason were checking through the house with us, which instantly reassured us as they expected a high level of quality and we knew they would make sure our house hit that standard. They made us feel at ease- even though there was a lot of information to pass on! Completion day went by without a breeze and Mel was just fab! 1 week into living in the house Jason called by for our first snags visit (of which we only had a couple of minor things), this also went by with ease, everything was taken on by Jason and even some things sorted within the day. We highly recommend using Avant homes to buy your home.

While the Avant house an overall nice property it is badly let down by the standard of the brickwork. The Avant pre-handover inspection failed to identify the faults and have them rectified without our input.

The experience of buying a home for first time buyers is usually stressful but with Avant home it was simplified for the beginning were you could get supported with all options of buying a home. We really appreciate Clare Firby for her efforts as we were first time buyers and had plenty of doubts which were simplified and assured at all the time.Clare ensure that the broker, solicitors and ourselves were singing from the same hymn sheet.We were supported through out the steps of journey to home buying making choices and upgrades etc.Although there was an appointment at sales office which was miscommunicated but was resolved in few minutes. We also appreciate Olivia and Janet who were in sales office for house buying journey appointment and for being around during the property demonstration.

My wife and I have recently purchased a new home at Meadowgate Point in Leeds with Avant and we could not of been happier with them. Sam Eisen looked after us and did a fantastic job. We had consistent information on the updates whilst building our house and she helped in the very difficult process of exchanging contracts. We had a tough time getting this all finalised and had a few moments where we needed help and Avant/Sam were superb. Both very excited. 5/5

Avant have not been responding very well to fix issues in my new home in DanetrePlace Daventry. House had two times massive leak from the main bathroom leading to holes drilled in kitchen ceiling and in bathroom walls. The other two en-suite had leakage issues and stopped working leading to change the shower box.Whole house has not been completed before the handover. They gave me the keys standing outside the home and made me to sign it.It’s been two months not much progress interms of fixing issues. House is filled with construction and paint dust and I am left to live/breathe in this place everyday. There has been more than 50 patches done to resolve the uneven surface in the walls and ceilings but they didn’t bother to finish the paintings for more than a week now. Still there are 10s of patching work. Blowing fresh air to the kitchen utility from the garage as the door is not fixed.Door to the garage is fitted wrong way around. Holes/ uneven surface all around the pipe everywhere. Didn’t fit any of the optional extras I have ordered during handover. The list goes on and on It already over two months and When I escalated further and further, the answer I got from one of the directors last week was that I have to wait for two years as per contractual terms with no proposed deadline or time frame to fix things.Even I have mentioned about the possibility of me getting Heath issues living in this house and they don’t care to bother for anything. Have no idea what to do now.

As we most know getting a mortgage it can be stressful. But working with Avant home, it has been fantastic from day one right throughout They understood my needs and worked around me helping to get the best suitable home for me and my family i’m super grateful I can’t put in words. In city fields there are so many options but I’m glad I chose Avant Homes. I would like to say a Massive thank you to the Avant sales team helping me to choose the dream home I wanted & Clare Firby mortgage Coordinator she was A-amazing she used to put my mind at ease when I was getting worried about things & and keeping me posted with the Weekly update Throughout and also now I’ve moved in The site supervisors/managers one of them is called Luke they are helping me to settle in. I would highly highly recommend anyone who is thinking of buying a house to come to Avant home you won’t be disappointed. I always joke to my friends now I saying to them I’m living my best life thank you Avant home keep up the good work 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️🏡🏡🏡

Adam, who helped us with our choices has also been great, the experience of picking bits for our house was lovely. Cotton Yard BrailsfordFor the last few weeks I have been liaising with various members of the Cotton Yard team to progress with the purchase of my dream home. From my initial meeting with Sandra, and ongoing communications with Louise and Claire I was finally in a position to reserve my plot with Patricia! With such a big purchase I wanted to be sure I was choosing the right home for us, and with the support from Steve the site manager I was able to don my hard hat, high viz and steel toe caps to fully confirm that I was doing the right thing! What a home! Completed my reservation meeting today with Louise who again has been so helpful and supportive with decisions and information about my new home so far it’s been a pleasant and exciting journey - hopefully the remainder of the journey continues to be as positive as it has been to now.

We had great help from the sales team with the purchase of our new home. The moving in date was very stressful, especially as it was only a week before Christmas, and we only had confirmation the day before our move. However, our site manager and his team have been absolutely brilliant since we moved in and helped us so much.

Customer service is terrible (and that’s before you part with your £500k!)Rang numerous times to try and arrange to see the show homes in wollaton Nottingham. Eventually got through to someone who said they would take my number and someone would get back to me . That was three weeks ago. No one got back to me. My partner tried ringing , he left serval messages and after a while arranged an appointed. We turned up as arranged at 10 am.... waited til 10.10 but no sign of anyone. Later that day someone rang saying that our appointment had been book in his diary at 10am but he didn’t actually start work til 11am. Disorganized and uninterested

Overall especially for first time buyers I would definitely recommend Avant. They offer a very good package which for people with little experience of buying a house really helps. The reason I have rated them 4 stars and not 5 is we had to constantly be the ones to contact them at every stage. The solicitors they recommend and the mortgage advisor are both good but you definitely feel they are working for Avant rather than you. Saying that I would still recommend as the house we bought, the level of finish and the site management is very high. Can they improve, yes but overall we received a brilliant home and good service.

We have been in our home on Meadowgate Point for just over a year and we are still waiting for snagging issues we reported after we'd moved in to sorted ! We thought being a new build it would be better insulated making it more energy efficient but it is the coldest draughtiest house we've ever lived in ! .Weve uncovered numerous examples of very sub-standard workmanship with our property over this last year and we keep finding more. I wouldnt recommend Avant and the aftersales service is terribleUpdate as of 21/02/2021We are due a contrator visit this week to address minor issues. However outstanding issues we have yet to have rectified are draughty windows . draughty front door .Loose patio slabs Lots of promises from Avant regional team but no action .

Cadley Village, Swadlincote.First time buyers.I must say, Avant have been brilliant with myself and my partner soo far, our sale advisors Jack Robinson was our first point of contact and has been throughout our journey soo far, such a friendly and helpful guy, hes made the process soo far a lot more fun and relaxing than we anticipated! We arent fully aware off whats involved in the whole process and learning as we go, but the team at Cadley have been great, we recently went through our checklist with Micheal Coles, he went thorough all documents clearly and made sure we were all up to speed ready for the next stages of our purchase.We hope this relationship and experience continues throughout the duration of the development and up to completion.We have reserved and the next stages are swatches and another view of the show homes with Jack, we can’t wait.Thanks again to Jack and Micheal for the support and help soo far.

Avant Homes - Market Harborough Tens Lock. I purchased my new home with Amy at Tens Lock in Market Harborough, the whole process was amazing! Unfortunately Covid did delay the build but Amy kept me in the loop throughout the year! The customer serviced from Amy was outstanding!! on completion I met with Amy on site who handed over my keys and gifted me a beautiful Avant Home Move Box!! A lovely gift! Since moving into the property the site manager Lee has been FANTASTIC!!! he even helped me with my empty boxes! I had a slight issue with my Extractor fan in my kitchen, he was straight round to fix the issue! I have purchased a couple of New Builds before and I can honestly say Avant sale & site have been the best experience! Thank you Chloe

Have recently been to the city fields site at Wakefield to secure a plot on a separate site that is not yet up and running. Met with James who was really helpful, not pushy in anyway and worked with us to get the best deal we could. We have bought from other big chain builders before with extremely pushy sales staff and often made to feel uncomfortable. Only the early stages of the process, so hopefully the quality service will continue throughout but will ensure we are liaising with James only during the purchase, would really recommend him.

I am still waiting on a refund for a cancellation that avant homes would not agree to extend for another 3 months. am not happy that it takes 28 days for this to be processed. Avant are quick to take the money to reserve the property and as quick to put the property back on the market but it takes 28 days for a refund that’s a joke. The property should not be back on the market until refund has been processed. It’s been a few weeks now and still no sign of the refund that I am entitled to and Avant have no right to keep this money. I still think Avant could of kept the property for us as if it wasn’t built then we would had to wait. The development is going to take 4/5 years so a few months to wait on 1 property which we reserved wasn’t much to ask. I also very much doubt it that when a new buyer comes along that the property with be sold and completed by March with how long solicitors are taking right now. Anyway can I please request to receive my refund that I am entitled too ASAP

This is our second new build and by far the best experience we've had, there were glitches along our journey but Avant C/service and sales team always put our best interest first and made sure we were always happy. The build quality and additional extras and optional extras are what make avant stand out from other competitors by a long way. We have built up a great relationship with everyone involved in the process and even after moving in everyone strives to resolve any issues. As soon as they can.We have got to know all the builders and they are all really friendly and always have time to listen and answer any questions you may have. We would highly recommend anyone to buy an Avant home, they are outstanding in every way.This is now our forever home. We are so happy NOW, but if we do decide to move in the future it will definately be into an Avant home. The Avant moto is "Dare to be different" and they are exactly that, go for it and buy one you definately will not be disspaointed.Happy house move Steve, Julie and Keara xx
